First Equity Mortgage

First Equity Mortgage was the worst lending experience of my life. Two days before closing I was told that my loan type was no longer available. I researched this and it had not been available for more than a year. [redacted] was trying to sell me a product that did not exist. He then told me that it was no big deal and asked that I obtain an addition $60,000 to secure the loan. He never even apologized for the mistake and I lost the home.
Save yourself the the lending fee. It is always cheaper to use a conventional lender.
