First Friends Childcare

Char is super awesome! I have known her for 11 years now and she watched my daughter when she was 17 months till around 4 years old. She had a huge part in helping potty training my daughter and although my daughter is no longer in need of her care we still remain close friends and I would recommend anyone to her.

This is a wonderful daycare and I couldn't have asked for a better provider for my children. Char the owner of this daycare has gone above and beyond for me and my children. It is so hard to find a place that you feel comfortable with leaving your children, I trust this provider with the mist precious things in my life. Thanks Char your daycare is the best.

The best daycare I have ever taken my son to. Char has a true love & passion for children. I always felt so comfortable leaving my baby with her & going to work. Her facility is always kept clean & as structured as possible without taking the fun out for the little ones. Every day, my son had something new to show me that he made or tell me something that he learned. My son left Char's daycare 4 months ago due to our out of state move, & still continues to ask about her & pretend he's calling her, as well as all of his very "first friends." Trustworthy, patient, loving, & safe is the best way to describe First Friends Childcare.

We have sent our two youngest to First Friends since 2012 because of a referral from one of the owner's previous coworkers. We have always left our children there, feeling confident that they are well cared for, loved on, and cherished for their individual personalities. It's the perfect mix of education, play, and down time. On another note, Char is very accommodating with changing schedules and other situations that life throws at us unexpectedly.

Miss Char is the best. I wouldn't want to take my little one anywhere else.

I am blown away by the dishonest review I read.

I am a first time mom and trust me, I did all my research and did so many walk throughs with various centers and daycare's before I was referred to Ms. Char. Upon meeting her for the first time, I knew she was the one. My daughter (now 9 months old) went to her right away and didn't shy away or cry as she did with all the other interviews I did. My daughter is very attached to me and doesn't just go to anyone! But she willingly went to her. For me, that was a mothers intuition my baby would be OK.

Before even meeting Ms. Char, she spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me telling me about her and her daycare, answering all my nervous first time mom questions and what to always look for in other facilities if I choose not to go with her. She also told me to stop by anytime as I was on a wait list as she was full (BECAUSE SHE IS AMAZING!).

The best part is she allowed me to do part time while I was looking for a job to help me and my baby make the transition to daycare as this was both our first time for this. She has always gone above and beyond to help me feel comfortable and also make what I needed as far as schedule accommodating for me. She goes above and beyond even after hours to always come up with new things for the kids or just ways to make things more fun. She NEVER makes me feel like a pest or that I am bothering her. She makes me feel so comfortable coming to her with any concerns or questions that I may have. Even if its to get a recommendation on how to do something with my daughter, example: how to start self feeding or adjust her to daylight savings as she turned into a little night owl.

My daughter comes home everyday happy and full of smiles. She reaches for Ms. Char every morning as is like "bye mommy, I got this, I'm OK". I get pictures almost every day as I miss my baby so much and I don't ask her to, she just does. I get sheets everyday with what she did, ate etc. When my daughter is struggling with something she goes out of her way to help me find solutions and figure out what may work best. One example is she wouldn't take a bottle while there. She protested as Ive researched most babies who start daycare older do (she started at 7 1/2 months when she started) so, we tried several things and she was so patient and understanding and really worked with me on figuring out a solution. Turns out my daughter was stubborn and I took her in with a empty tummy and she finally had no choice but to eat. Since then, she is a champ. She has excelled in so many ways and I am shocked everyday at what she can do and has mastered thanks to Ms. Char. She is extremely tentative with the kids. My daughter got a little rash on her chin and she text me right away to see if it was normal. I can go on and on about what an amazing person and provider she is. Her assistant is also awesome and so loving and caring with my daughter. I never see any of the kids upset, they are always busy happily playing and learning.

Ms. Char is just amazing! She honestly loves my daughter and is more of a family member then a daycare provider. I trust her 100% and that is huge because when it comes to my baby I am a bear. She is so kind and caring it just makes me so upset that someone would say otherwise as it is just not true. People should not take out issues on others that have nothing to do with their current issues.

What a wonderful place! Miss Char is an extrodonary person. She takes such good care of all her little friends. She is very involved & hands on with them from reading, coloring, music, learning everything & of course playtime. My daughter loved going to "school" with her and her Dad & I felt very safe and confident to take her there. I would recommend First Fiends Childcare to anyone.
