This letter shall serve as notice to you that the above complaint has been satisfied, to my satisfaction, by Slavin Construction of Elmira HeightsNY Thank you for your quick response that led to a quick response from Slavin Construction in replacing the wood on my front porch and steps

[redacted]We received a call from [redacted] on Sept 14/2016 at approximately 4:15 pm. Tammy F[redacted] took the initial call details and then Randy S[redacted] (Owner)...

spoke with the client for additional information and to give a general idea of what the best processes would be. The client advised that she [redacted] was concerned about the mold growth in her home following seepage from a water main break that had happened previously.  The client was aware that it would not be covered by her insurance as it was caused by seepage which wasn't covered under her policy. The timeline of work follows:Sept 19/2016 the client signed the work authorization (attached) and Travis P[redacted] (Project Manager) did air quality samples inside and outside the home. At that time Travis explained the scope of work that may be involved and the costs to do so. The client was also informed at that time that the scope of work being proposed did not include any repair to the structure or interior of the residence. The results came back to following afternoon that all mold levels were low both inside and outside the home but the client was insistent that her home be deep-cleaned and treated for mold.Sept 21/16 we sent 4 technicians to her home to set up air movers, air scrubbers and a hydroxyl unit. The entire basement was also fogged with a mold treatment. Sept 22/16 we sent 2 technicians to her home. The entire basement and main floor were fogged once again with a mold treatment. 140+ pictures were taken of the areas to be cleaned, client requested that all bedding be washed in her machine to save money as we advised her that it can get quite expensive to clean them through with our equipment - 2 loads of bedding were washed as requested. All ceilings throughout the home were [redacted] vacuumed and all soft contents (furniture, mattresses, etc) in the living room, dining room and plant area were also [redacted] vacuumed. All contents in those same rooms were sanitized by hand, furniture moved to clean and sanitize behind and under all areas, all floors were vacuumed and sanitized. The technicians started cleaning the kitchen area by [redacted] vacuuming some of the solid surfaces, were unable to complete the kitchen that day so advised client they would return the next day. Sept 23/16 we sent 2 technicians to her home. The completed the [redacted] vacuuming in the kitchen area, sanitized all contents on the walls throughout the house, washed 2 more loads of laundry at the request of the client, cleaned and sanitized all windows, doors & trim. Sept 24/16 the client called and spoke to Travis P[redacted] advising him that the comforters had been damaged in the wash but stated quite clearly "My own fault, I told them to wash them". The client requested that additional testing be done and Travis advised that it was far beyond the normal testing already being done but we would proceed with the additional tests and leave equipment for a few extra days in lieu of payment for bedding. The client seemed quite satisfied with that and asked that the bedding be picked up when the crew returned to pick up the equipment.Sept 27/16 we sent 1 technician to pick up the equipment and bedding as discussed. The client was not home at that time and as verified with the employee, [redacted].Approximately Oct 4/16 the client called very agitated and demanding to speak to Rory C[redacted] (Owner). Our receptionist took a message for him as he was away from the office at that time. When Rory returned he felt it was best that Travis P[redacted] speak with the client as he had been involved with the claim from the beginning. Travis attempted to contact the client over the next few days but got no answer and no response. Oct 10/16 Travis was finally able to speak with the client. She requested that additional swab tests be done on hard surfaces in her home as she wanted to ensure no mold growth had been missed or was reoccurring. Swab tests were done as requested and sent for analysis.Oct 11/16 all swab tests came back negative for fungal growth of any kind. Client was advised by Travis of results, billing was discussed and agreed to the amount of $6800 with an $800 credit for bedding. She requested that her bedding be returned to her with the invoice and she would make arrangements with her bank to pay invoice.Oct 17/16 the client phoned the office very agitated and spoke with Tammy F[redacted] (Office Manager). After hearing the client say that we were taking advantage of her because she's a widow (which I was unaware of until that time so that's definitely not the case) I stopped her and asked why she felt we were taking advantage of her. The client then [redacted] hung up on me. Several attempts were made to contact her but she refused to speak with anyone.Oct 18/16 I created the invoice as directed by Travis and he delivered it personally to her along with her bedding. Travis parked on the road in front of the clients home and she stood on the front step taking pictures of him and telling him she was going to charge him with trespassing. To avoid further confrontation Travis left the invoice in an envelope taped to the bedding he had returned to her in the bags she originally sent them to us in. To date we have received no payment from the client for any portion of the services provided.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
[redacted]  [redacted]  [redacted]  I waited and waited for Travis to come and pick up the equipment for over 2 weeks I stayed in waiting for him.  [redacted] I gave them permission to use my washer and dryer and told them the comforters were NOT TO BE PUT IN MACHINES AS THEY ARE TOO BIG AND THEY MUST BE DRY CLEANED [redacted].  Travis knew I was a widow [redacted]  [redacted]  [redacted]  Yes I ordered Travis off my property and NEVER want him back on my property again. I never insisted that any extra tests be done, [redacted]. They want they same money [redacted] but say that I replace my comforters comforter sets.   The bill as altered 10 days after it was processed to reflect that they would not replace the comforters.  The comforter actually crackles as it is dry clean only.  [redacted]  3 times he was to show up and it took weeks.  He has never returned my phone calls for weeks if ever.  Actually once I asked to speak to the owner Travis finally returned my call. then he was to show up the next day and the following week threw the invoice on the ground by my door.  Nothing has been cleared up.  I have no problem paying the $6000.00 once my comforter sets are replaced.  That was the verbal deal [redacted] and the comforters never came into play till.  I wanted Rorry the owner to call me in a conference call to get to the bottom of this situation and was told it would happen and it never has.  I also called Rorry 2 more times with no response.  this is no way to run a business.  Travis just called me and was told to mail the bedding back to me.  He just forced himself onto my property and threw the good on the ground in front of my door.  [redacted]  [redacted]  Just replace the comforters with new ones.  I was told it would stay at the $6,000.00 by Travis [redacted].[redacted]  [redacted]  [redacted]  They billed me for $6,000.00 originally and Travis told me the would keep it to that.  the bill was issued and then had it altered over 10 days later to reflect the same $6000.00 but adding on to the bill and deducting $800.00 to replace the comforter sets. And putting other charges on the bill.  [redacted]  I stated I was a widow the day I met him [redacted]
