First Hispanic Community Mortgage Reviews (1)

Review: On May**,2013 I sign a mortgage application to buy a property located at [redacted] with [redacted] President of FHC Mortgage. [redacted] refuse to give me a copy of the papers I sign , he refuse to let me read the application by saying that no one read this papers. More over he refuse to give me a G.F.E (Good Faith Estimate) when I asked about the closing cost he told me that I should talk to my lawyer about it. He refuse to disclosure the name of the financial institution he request the mortgage in my name, stating that I will get that information in the commitment letter. He decline to inform me the appraisal day even when I requested to be present. The financial institution MCS Mortgage bank use my credit card to pay $550 for appraisal fee and I doubt that they even do an appraisal.Today I received a commitment letter that said that I have 72Hs to lack a floating interest and sign, and once I sign it I have to close the deal or forfeit my earnest money deposit of $15.000. we suspect that we are victim of real estate fraud, we have reasons to believe that our lawyer is working with the realtor from One Home Line Realty along with [redacted]. The day I sign the contract my lawyer told me that by law I was required to put all my down payment $35.000 as earnest money deposit I refuse and they took the $15.000. she also charge me her fee and the title search in advance.more over my Lawyer told me that everything was Ok with the title. I request a copy and find out that it has over $8.000 in judgment for violation. taxes has not been paid in two years and it has water debt over $1000. when I question her about it and she said that they will solved it at closing. MY lawyer instead of informing me about the open violations and judgment against the house she order a financial background of myself (the buyer saying that the bank required it, I'm paying her to defend me not the bank)please help me avoid being scam. By law I have a right to a GFS and HUD1

Note from Revdex.com: On July *, 2013, consumer contacted Revdex.com with the following additional information:

This complaint is in reference to ID #[redacted] .as stated before we signed a mortgage application with FHC mortgage on 5/**/2013. The mortgage broker refused to give us the Good Faith Estimate. According to RESPA Act by law the mortgage agent was required to provide me (borrower) with a Good Faith Estimate withing three days after signing the Mortgage application. After requiring to give us a good faith estimate he send me the following attached forms. These forms are not a GFS. He is trying to mislead us in order to inflate the closing cost, the loan amount and, the interest rate. We received the commitment letter on 7/*/2013. Please help us avoid becoming a victim of predatory lenders. Desired Settlement: I want my $15.000 earnest money deposit,to be return to me as soon as possible, I also want the $550 dollars used for appraisal, the $430.06 for title search and the $375 used in lawyer fee. I strongly believe that FHC Mortgage along with One Line Home Realty are trying to scam me. today I contact FHC mortgage and ask why they haven't provided me with a G.F.S that by law they were supposed to provide to me,they said they don't know.

Note from Revdex.com: On July *, 2013, consumer contacted Revdex.com with the following additional information:

We want the real Good Faith Estimate as required by RESPA ACT as soon as possible. If this is not provided we want a 90 days extension of the commitment day.
