Review: A contract for decor & coordination was signed months before our wedding. Initially, all indications were that business owner, [redacted], had everything under control. Detailed outlines of the events, schedules, and powerpoints detailing the appearance of floral arrangements, stage decor, and the venue were created. As a very detail oriented person, every aspect of the function, start to finish, was discussed. A venue walk through was performed. All the details were spelled out, including a timeline for vendor coordination, and contact in the contract. As the wedding day approached, we began inquiring why milestones were not met as enumerated in the contract. The response was always don't worry-- this is typical operating procedure-- and that such advanced arrangements as delineated in the contract is not the industry standard. After receiving assurances we relaxed. Things began to unravel the week of our events. Our hotel event manager for the function, other vendors, all expressed misgivings about our coordination company. We confronted [redacted] and demanded to know if there was anything we needed to do to make sure our wedding was executed smoothly. [redacted] again reassured us everything was going as planned, & that all the vendors would be on the same page once the event started later in the week. Much to our dismay, our confidence in [redacted] was misplaced. On the day of the event vendors were never contact, decor was incomplete, stage & centerpieces discussed in the contract were missing, and decor items such as chair covers discussed in the contract were outright ignored. Event management & coordination was essentially nonexistent, and responsibilities clearly stated in the contract, were assumed by my family. After the wedding we raised these issues with [redacted] & attempted to resolve the issue amicably. After deliberation, she agreed to refund $2965 for services not rendered. 5 months later, despite multiple emails/calls, she has refunded only $350 for her frank breach of contract.Desired Settlement: Reviewed in detail all contracts signed. Identified 3 main breaches in contract for duties and obligations not met. Refunds requested based on the services not rendered-Coordination refund- $1382.50 (70% of coordination services not rendered as outlined in contract) Chair cover refund- $675 (100% of chair covers not delivered as stated in contract)Centerpiece refund- $907.50 (No manzanita trees, no fake flora on willow trees, 50% of centerpieces not delivered)TOTAL REFUND SOUGHT- $2965
