Dear *** ***,Thank you for reaching out to me in regards to case #***I completely understand and sympathize with *** *** grievance.When *** *** reached out to me about her issues, I was very responsive in getting back in touch with her to investigate the matter as to what was
wrongI went out assessed the issues, and put together an action plan to remedy the situationUnfortunately, due to the nature of the materials that needed to be used, I needed her surfaces to be completely dryOne of the main issues was on the side of the house where it is very shadedThus making it longer to dry out, and harder for me to repairDuring the time that she reached out to me, we were over loaded with passing storms thus making the area unworkable for a few weeksAlso, *** *** lives in a gated community in SE DC and her fence is also locked on the average day, so the work needed to be scheduledOnce I had a clearing in the weather and schedule, my only contact info I had for her was her business infoWhen I called the office number, after quite a few failed attempts to her email to schedule the repair, I was informed that she no longer worked there*** *** then reached out to me again in October, and I explained to her why | could not get a hold of her, and she understoodAt this point in the year the weather is extremely tough to work aroundDue to the nature and location of the issue, I could not resolve the issue if there was a threat of freezing at night, because it would cause the concrete to crackSo, unfortunately timing was rough from that point through the Winter, which I explained to *** ***This Spring, the weather was very cold through March, making it impossible to take care of in March, and then we had April rains to deal with.In closing, I finally had optimum weather in May to get her taken care ofI had already scheduled the repair with *** *** prior to receiving the notice from youOver the Winter, we moved office locations, so due to the delay in the mail forward, I didn't receive your notice until weeks after your notice had been sentThat is when I reached out to youNever the less, I have finished the repair for *** ***, and I hope we can close this matterPlease let me know if you need any furtherinformation for me.All the best,Michael W
