I was interested in an irrigation system and decided to go with [redacted], Green Lwns LLC...what a mistake! For starters [redacted] wanted to install a check valve in lieu of a backflow preventer valve assembly. I questioned his recommendation and told him I still wanted to go with the BPV. Next issue was when he did not want to commit to a date for the work to be done after I paid 50% upfront. Finally, he sends his crew out and they drilled a 2.5" hole thought the basement wall to the outside to route a 1" schedule 40 PVC pipe (not sure why they didn't use 1.25" or 1.5" hole saw) and thought is was ok to leave the large open area exposed to the elements, bugs, rodents, etc until his crew could come back days or a week later. I called and complained so he sent a crew member over and shoved a torn pair of men's underwear (as a rag) in the hole. His crew dug through my fresh mulch bed and dumped the dirt right on top of the fresh mulch vs on plastic or in the grass. He avoided my calls and still had the nerve to charge me $250 for the poor work his crew performed. I now have to repair the hole, install new vinyl siding, and fix my mulch beds.
