I am writing in response to your e-mail of March 1, 2016, regarding a complaint filed by *** ***. Thank you for the opportunity to respond
First Pacific Corporation
(FPC) is an accounts receivable management company serving dental professionals nationwide by billing insurance companies and patients, providing software and hardware, and establishing predictable cash flow to our clients through the purchase of their accounts receivable. Established in 1961, FPC has been, and continues to be, licensed for business in Georgia
Mr***’s dental provider is FPC’s client, DrMagualie W***. According to FPC’s records, Mr*** has visited DrW***’s practice at various times from February 15, through February 23, 2016, when services were most recently rendered
Based on the transactions posted and account settings maintained by DrW***’s office, FPC prepared and issued a standard monthly statement to Mr*** on February 23. The message on the statement reads “Our records indicate that you have insurance. Please note, however, that any portion not covered by insurance is your responsibility. Please send the minimum payment shown.” After estimating insurance coverage, the statement requested a payment of $
Because insurance companies and their plans vary widely in their coverage and benefit payments, FPC provides its clients with an option to generate a Confirmation statement, which does not request a payment from patients. However, this option was not selected, and so FPC issued a standard statement requesting a minimum payment to Mr***
FPC regrets any confusion or inconvenience this has caused to Mr***, and has returned his account to DrW*** office. Mr***’s account is no longer serviced by FPC, and he will have no further contact from FPC (unless DrW*** office elects to have FPC resume services on his account). Because Mr***’s account has insurance coverage, there was a grace period underway when no late charge would have been assessed. Without reaching the end of that grace period, I can confirm that no additional fees were assessed to his account before FPC returned it to DrW*** office
At this time, our records indicate that the account balance returned to DrW*** office is $25.00, and that there are no unresolved insurance claims on the account
FPC does not report to any credit reporting agency, and Mr***’s credit rating and report will not be impacted in any way by FPC
If the Revdex.com or Mr*** has any additional questions or concerns, please let me know. My phone is 800-544-2345, ext ***. Mail can be sent to my attention at: PO Box ***, Salem, OR 97302, and my e-mail is ***@firstpac.com

[redacted] Dispute Resolution Consultant Revdex.com PO Box 1000 DuPont, WA 98327 Re: complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted], I am writing in response to your e-mail of July 7 2015, regarding a complaint filed by [redacted]. Thank you for the opportunity to respond....

Established in 1961, First Pacific Corporation (FPC) is an accounts receivable management company serving dental professionals nationwide by billing insurance companies and patients, providing software and hardware, and establishing predictable cash flow to our clients through the purchase of their accounts receivable. Among other services, FPC provides statement billing services to our clients. FPC is not a collection agency, and by agreement with our clients, FPC returns uncollectible patient accounts to our clients, at which time our clients determine if an account needs to be placed for collections. Mr. [redacted]'s dental provider is FPC's client, Dr. [redacted]. Dr. [redacted] converted to FPC's services on February 20, 2015. At that time, Dr. [redacted] sold and confirmed a $25 balance on Mr. [redacted]'s account. Dr. [redacted]'s office rendered additional services to Mr. [redacted] approximately a week after converting to FPC, and those new services were paid by Mr. [redacted]'s insurance carrier in early April, returning the balance on Mr. [redacted]'s account to $25. FPC has billed Mr. [redacted] each month from February through June. On April I 0, Mr. [redacted] contacted FPC and confirmed that an insurance payment was received on his account. Mr. [redacted] asked if he could resolve the $25 balance with Dr. [redacted]'s office, and our staff explained that he could. Aside from the monthly statements, FPC had no further contact with Mr. [redacted], and FPC received no further transactions or communication from Dr. [redacted]'s office related to Mr. [redacted] and his account. I contacted Dr. [redacted]'s office today to investigate Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, at which time the office discovered that Mr. [redacted] had paid the $25 last April, but the office did not enter the payment into FPC's software. Thus, FPC was not aware that Mr. [redacted]'s account had been settled, leading to the continued monthly statements and late charges.Dr. [redacted]'s office has now recorded the missing payment, and has reversed the late charges on the account, bringing Mr. [redacted]'s balance to zero. As mentioned above, FPC is not a collection agency. FPC does not report patients to any credit bureaus, and does not take any actions that might affect a patient's credit report. Mr. [redacted]'s credit has not been impacted in any way by FPC. If you or Mr. [redacted] have any additional questions or concerns, please let me know. My phone is [redacted]. Mail can be sent to my attention at: PO Box [redacted], Salem, OR 97302, and my e-mail is[redacted]
