Unethical application processes, procedures, and explanations I took my daughter, [redacted] , to the [redacted] for preview dayDuring this day they had a dorm/apartment fair, we got information from may locations but location stood out from the others, the Loft at City center First they advertised that rent with everything included as $414, we asked the representatives and they stated this was the fee When we got to the location and took the tour we were then told that fee was wrong it was an additional $making the total $The price change should have been the red flag but we were still interestedWe took the information told them we would be in touch and visited a few more locations My daughter, [redacted] , a few days later requested a application I advised her to read through it We call one of the representatives and asked many questions, but at no time were we informed even if you start a application and NO financial proof is given you are in

paid for inclusive utilities, but that was not the case, billed overages even when not occupied
My daughter attended *** and wanted to live in the LoftsWe signed a lease and opted to pay the extra money to have utilities includedHowever, due to medical issues, my daughter was not able to move in in August She didn't move in until Jan of Due to medical reasons she had to leave school at move out mid March I paid for the whole 12-month lease up front along with the extra to cover utilitiesHowever, I've been charged, as of today, over $in overages in utilitiesAccording to an employee we have been charged overages every single monthThis is very misleading; first off to include utilities implies it covers all utilitiesSecondly, how can you have overages when you are not even using the space? I do not know if this is an error or an attempt to defraud people out of extra money, regardless, I have received zero help from local management
