First Premium Insurance Group

Review: On July 11 2013, Chase Bank submitted a payment in the amount of $1,575.16 to First Premium from our escrow account. This payment was to cover from August 2013 to August 2014. After trying several times to get in touch with our agent at First Premier, we were told that our insurance had been cancelled on August 19, 2013. We were never informed of the cancellation nor have we been given a reason for our cancellation. The check was cashed, and shortly after, our insurance was cancelled and we were not insured during the time that our escrow payment paid for. Neither I nor Chase bank received a refund from First Premium for the escrow that w as paid to them. We were unaware that our homeowners insurance had been cancelled. Chase was notified in August of 2013 and when they were questioned by us, they said they didnt know why they didnt follow upnwith the information when they recieved it. Chase didnt take out their insurance when they recieved their notice, so we were essentially uninsured and had to idea for over a year. We have tried to get in touch with someone from their office as well as Chase Bank, and have not been able to get in touch with anyone. The money that was sent to them should have been returned back to us and we should have been informed of the cancellation. Please help us recover this money so that we can pay to have new insurance taken out on our home.Desired Settlement: We are asking for the entire amount of $1575.16 that was paid where in return services were not given.
