I currently live in Wynterbrook, and have for over 2 years. We have constantly had problems. The one I am currently complaining about that takes precedence is our current bed bug infestation. Last year we were complaining about being bit. We would get bit every night and wake up with about 15-20 bites on average. My boyfriend has scars from head to toe from it. As we contacted the office many times they would come and say they couldn't do anything. They just advised us to get a new couch because they had found carpet beetle larva underneath the couch. When problems didn't resolve I had begged for them to spray for bed bugs and they refused. About 5-6 months went by. The apartment below then complained of bed bugs. Which is when then they decided to spray. Now, after completing the list to prepare per ***, we have done about 10-12 sessions, which consist of coming to the apartment 3 times about every 2- 3 weeks have been spraying with no luck. Telling us we are the problem. They then gave up. After speaking to maintenance insisting it isn't us, they finally look at everyone's apartment and find the source. We are now on the last set of treatment after finding the source and they have rescheduled 3 times without notice, haven't called or left notes of any update on what is going on. I have an infant and need to be out 24 hours, meanwhile getting everything ready which takes hours. We are still not bed bug free and been living in such poor conditions. My infant is now getting bit and we have been trying to resolve this for so long. There are many other living conditions that we are struggling with but again, this is the most important.

In response to the complaint concerning the complaint of pests in the unit- please know we contract with a local pest control company to handle these issues, as we are not equipped to do this ourselves.
On 10/17/18 our contractor responded to a complaint of beetles in you unit. The unit was baited, and you were told to remove your couch and dispose of it. You did not.
On 11/28/18 our contractor responded to your complaint of roaches in your unit- which they set traps for, and advised you of your living conditions. You again ignored their advise, and did not properly clean your unit.
On 02/01/19 our contractor responded to your complaint of bed bugs in the unit. They found bedbugs and roaches- sprayed and baited for both, and advised you to remove the couch (again) and to properly clean your unit, and your bedding. You ignored them again.
On 2/13/19; 2/27/19; 3/12/19; 3/27/19 your unit was sprayed again for bed bugs. You had not removed the couch, or cleaned your bedding and the condition of your unit was worse than before. You were advised again to get rid of your couch; mattresses and to clean your unit. You did not.
On 5/13/19 your bedbugs spread to the rest of the building; and your unit and others were treated for bed bugs. Your couch; mattresses, etc were still there, and you were advised by the contractor AGAIN. You did not listen to the contractor this time either.
On 5/28/19; 6/11/19; 6/14/19 your unit and the building was treated again. This time you were advised to properly wash your laundry; remove the couch; properly clean your unit and remove the mattresses. You did not.
You are responsible for the living conditions in your unit, and your living conditions create the continual infestations which proliferate your unit.
At this juncture, you may finish out the terms of your lease, and we will not be renewing it. You may also pay for any remainder of time on your lease and leave.
