The customer signed a contract with us on 11/12/to have a Gutter Helmet System installed on his homeOn 11/17/our office sent him an email stating his installation was set to occur in one to three weeksOn the same day he sent an email reply stating he'd like to push the installation back until January On 1/12/customer had emailed us stating he was ready for installation anytime in JanuaryOur office called (admittedly there was a mix up on our end regarding his phone number) and sent him an email on 1/18/stating we had his installation scheduled for 1/21/His installation was scheduled for the afternoon hours, unfortunately we ran into some complications on the job prior to his that dayAt approximately 2:pm our installation technician called customer to let him know the situationOn 1/23/the customer contacted us via email and spoke to an office representative to say he wanted to cancel his contract and wanted his deposit refundedAlso later that morning on 1/23/i called the customer personally, apologized for what happened on 1/21/and offered to reschedule for any day and time he wantedThe customer then told me about unflattering reviews on the internet, etcand just wanted to get his deposit refundedThe controller at our corporate office will not refund deposit because the customer was well beyond the three day rescission period stated in our contract in accordance with the law

On 11/17/16 our office sent him an email stating his installation was set to occur in one to three weeks. On the same day he sent an email reply stating he'd like to push the installation back...

until January 2017. On 1/12/17 customer had emailed us stating he was ready for installation anytime in January. Our office called (admittedly there was a mix up on our end regarding his phone number) and sent him an email on 1/18/17 stating we had his installation scheduled for 1/21/17. His installation was scheduled for the afternoon hours, unfortunately we ran into some complications on the job prior to his that day. At approximately 2:00 pm our installation technician called customer to let him know the situation. On 1/23/17 the customer contacted us via email and spoke to an office representative to say he wanted to cancel his contract and wanted his deposit refunded. Also later that morning on 1/23/17 I called the customer personally, apologized for what happened on 1/21/17 and offered to reschedule for any day and time he wanted. The customer then told me about unflattering reviews on the internet, etc... and just wanted to get his deposit refunded. The controller at our corporate office will not refund deposit because the customer was well beyond the three day rescission period stated in our contract in accordance with the law.
