Review: I own a 2002 [redacted] massage chair that does not work.

I called [redacted] and they recommended two services they use.

The first service said she would see if parts were still available. That made perfect sense. However she never called back. After calling [redacted] again, I recalled first service and she said parts were not available.

In the meantime, I called First Response. They said they do not check parts availability as old chairs might have several motors. We had to turn the chair over for him to look at underneath.

The man came took pictures underneath and said he would call. He took $100 cash and said he would email receipt.

Never heard from him again after many calls. Finally he said they would mail $100.00 back as no parts were available.

Two weeks later he said only $50.00.called few more times no answer.Desired Settlement: Desire our $100. refunded.

Review: I purchased a sectional from Huffman Koos which was damaged on arrival. First Response Furniture Repair was sent to attempt a repair on two occasions. The second tech arrived on Sat 11/*/2013. The tech took 1 piece of the sectional entirely apart. He removed the leather, separated the backrest and seat cushions and placed the raw wood directly on my brand new hardwood floor. He badly scratched the floor in many places while wrestling to replace the leather and dragging the raw wood across the floor. I took pictures of the damage and called First Response immediately. I sent pictures to the office manager ([redacted]) at First Response. I refused to have their tech (who is unqualified) repair the damage. I offered to arrange to have the company that installed the floor give an estimate on repair. First Response agreed. My floor guy said it is impossible to spot fix scratches that have carved into the wood. A spot repair would cause further issues; the only way to truly repair the damage was to have the entire floor refinished. He provided me an estimate of $700. I spoke to other wood floor pros and received the same advice.I provided a copy of the estimate to [redacted] at First Response and have been waiting for any action. I have called First Response numerous times and theyve provided many stories as to why they have yet to pay for the damages. I insist that a wood floor pro fix the floor, and offered to let one of their choosing give an estimate. They have not arranged any other estimates, in person or verbal. From my latest calls with [redacted], she has no idea how this will be handled. She contradicts herself in statements as to the status of this issue. One day it is with an insurance rep, another day it is in a different dept. at First Response. This issue has been ongoing for nearly one month and they have yet to provide any relief for the damage they caused to a new floor.Desired Settlement: Provide payment of $700 for the damage they caused to my brand new hardwood floor. They have provided no viable alternatives to this settlement at all.
