RE: ID [redacted] To wham it may concern,I arn writing in response to the above complaint filed against the University of Pittsburgh concerning a billing or collection issue.The customer has a loan from the University of Pittsburgh that assisted him in paying his tuition while enrolled at the institutionThe student loan is in default and the borrower recently established a partial payment arrangement of $per monthI have attached the last four remittance slips that were returned with this paymentsOnly on the final remittance due March 1,2016, did the borrower check the area to apply the overage to a future paymentWe will count the overage as his April 1, payment but that does not stop the account from being billed for the agreed partial payment.The borrower was charged a $late fee that I have transferred to his account balance.If you require any additional information, please contact my office at ###-###-####.Sincerely,DirectorUniversity Collections
