Mr *** did in fact contact my ex partner who handled all of this and was told that he no longer works for me so he contacted me about this problemI told Mr *** that I would personally come by and check the problem which I didI climbed the extremely steep roof and tested all
turbines and all three turned freelyI even took video of the moving and emailed the video to him after the video would not go through on textMr*** was concerned that they were not moving when the neighbors wereI explained that the neighbor has a low pitch roof that faces a different direction and thus the wind flows more freely to those turbinesThe height of the roof and the direction of which it faces blocks a lot of the south winds to these turbines but they do turn , just not as often as others around himI explained to him that the holes that are now in his roof line actually allow the heat to escape even when the turbine is not turning unlike before when there were no vents presentThe shingles manufacturer states that you must maintain a certain number of turbines, low profile vents or ridge vent for proper ventilation of the attic heat or your warranty can be voidedMr *** doesn't have the proper amount of horizontal ridge at the top of his home for ridge vent to be beneficialSo we were left to decide between static dome vents that have no moving parts or turbines that when they do move provide a draw pulling the heat out of the attic at a higher rate than static ventsThe turbines provide both the benefit of the static dome vent as well as the added benefit that when they spin the will pull more heat out of the atticI hate that Mr*** felt it necessary to file a complaint over something that was beyond our control and I will gladly go to his home and repalce the dual benefit turbines with a single benefit dome vent at no cost to himThe turbines have a warranty through the manufacturer so if one is now rubbing metal to metal and he would like me to replace that turbine I will do so under the manufacturers warrantyUpon my last inspection in sepember all turbines were moving freely when I spun them by handWe strive for 100% customer satisfaction which is shown by our year record as an accredited A rated member and will work to make this as seamless a process as possible within the guidelines of the agreement we made with Mr***
