Our technician is very skilled and experienced Customer's Nordine forced air furnace had ceased to heat Technician determined the rollout switch had tripped as a safety step He exercised best practices by resetting the rollout switch Often these resets last for a long long time There is no way to know that it will trip again In this case, it must have We perform over 1,service calls per month Our deep experience usually would result in a follow up call that the reset did not last In that case, we would return and perform a more substantial repair In this case because the customer did not call us back, we were not able to resolve this and it appears that we brought no value I believe our technician must have been in some hurry (understandably this time of year - everyone is cold !), and thus did not communicate with the customer well enough to explain how this could go Therefore, We will write off this service call, and engage in no further pursuit of payment for it We regret that this did not go smoothly, and misunderstanding occurred -Daryl M [redacted] MBA / CPA OwnerFischer Heating and Air
