Review: On Jan 5, 2015 I placed an order for carpet to be installed on my steps and hall/living area.On Jan 16, I received an estimate to remove existing carpet and install the new carpet from Fisher Carpet Installers. We set a date of Jan 23 to remove the carpet - which was completed.I told them I would need to have the floor refinished and painted in the next few weeks - which I did. During this time, I called them multiple (more than 10 times) to set up a time to install the new carpet, and also get information about the carpet rods. NEVER once did [redacted] ever return a phone call. I left message after message, and I had to keep calling until I was able to get someone on the phone. Finally, [redacted] gave me a date of April 1 to install the carpet. I called the day before - and was told they may not be able to come on April 1. I've been waiting months for carpet install, and took vacation from work for it. I was told I would hear from them on the same day to know for sure - which I never did. I called 3 times after that, with no call back - and being told "[redacted] was just walking out the door." I have never seen a business take a job like this and not give me a date for install. I've also called the company that recommended them. They could not believe I was still waiting. They are going to try to help me find a new company to install. And, they have removed them from the installer list. In the meantime, I am going to file complaints where I can against this company and let folks know how terrible they were to me. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen and I have been in corporate procurement for 20 years.Desired Settlement: I have never seen such terrible treatment to a customer after a job is taken. I will make sure I let folks know of this experience, especially as I am in corporate procurement and would never want them to treat any customer the way they treated me - with lies, no return calls, and lack of any customer focus.
