He became agitated along with his foreman and stated they were leaving. I told them that this was okay and I would be happy to go above and beyond and give them a discount on their rent and their deposit on the electricity. I did indeed give a refund to [redacted] (foreman). The gentleman which is the complainant was correct in the statement that I gave permission to contractors to use his pedestal for electricity (which is my property) and I believed that it was okay due to the fact that I was on a first name basis with all my campers and I let Mr. [redacted] know about it and offered him a discount on his electricity as well. It was [redacted] the next day and the contractors were doing me a favor for coming out that morning to complete the job and I was not there due to the fact that I was taking my family to church (so they had no other way to get electricity other than that). On another note the complainant had every opportunity to meet with me after he got off work or the following Sunday. I made myself available after church all day and was very noticeable. I could see him and he could see me. He waited until I was in a meeting with the before mentioned contractor getting him paid and discussing a future job when he approached me. I informed him that I was in a meeting and that I would get back with him as soon as it was over. He informed me that it was not necessary and said “don’t worry about it, I don’t want to talk to you” [redacted] I am a Christian man who truly cares about what people thing and I hold myself accountable for their views. I would have been happy to reimburse this man for his electricity and partial rent if he didn’t act like such an [redacted] In our contract it clearly states that we have the right to increase or decrease the rent as we see fit and Mr. [redacted] signed the contract stating so. It also states on our website and in our rules and regulations that “no refunds will be given for shortened stays” but occasionally we will offer a partial refund. If he would have been more reasonable about the situation it could have been handled differently. Instead he threw a fit and became belligerent. I will not tolerate such behavior.
