Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: it has been almost years since I have placed my order. I have been given several excuses and have been promised by Fish Scale Taxidermy that they would refund my money. The picture of the bass that was sent to me did not look any where close to the bass that I caught and commissioned Fish Scale to complete. I just want my refund so I can get the work completed

Here we go againFirst off, I wish people would understand that when it says "turnaround time is an estimate" That that means it may be a whileLook, when you order a fish, and put a deposit or pay the whole thing up front, I have to but a blank for it for $plus shipping to me, eyes,
driftwood, paints, clear coats, epoxy clay, etcThis is all ordered and paid for by us then in turn all put together and painted to be the best replicas you can buySo that's thatThen because a year goes by, I get a call, text, or email and the client says, "HEY how's my fish coming?" I say "not long Ill call you when its ready"Well for some people they think that means Ill call every week or from now onThen its every week or weeks, "how's the fish coming?", I say "Ill let you know when its finished" then they get mad, I don't know why? I never will understand! Then they ask for a refund! I cant do that, I ordered a special size just for there fish blank! I just spent $on the before mention supplies
Why is it ok for a deer hunter to take a deer to a taxidermist to get mounted and it takes years is ok? I take a year and a couple of months and I am ripping everybody off!?!?
This next guy coming up *** ***, contacted me yesterday and I gave him pictures of one of fish on his order that's finished and doing the other as fast as I can and he files a complain here on the Revdex.com!
This is just like the before people that's complained here, I get or out of that just don't get it every year!
I added a picture of his signature on his work order just like all the rest, on the attachments on this page
So you at the Revdex.com go ahead and do what you always do without looking into what we do here at Fish Scale Taxidermy and the time it takes to do these fish and just post another complaint
*** *** signed a work order stating on the work order that turnaround time is an estimateThis is exactly what the others had to do that COMPLAIN TO YOUI pain fish, I do not produce anything, I have clients other than Mr***, I do them in order as they come in for the last years
I provided MR*** a picture of his largemouth bass just yesterday! And are in the process of doing the Smallmouth bass now
It is a ridiculous thing that the entity of the Revdex.com never looks at the entire situation EVER!
Taxidermy is a slow process and takes time especially one like us that do thousands and thousands and thousands
The Revdex.com will listen to anyone that makes a complaint and not the company that works hard everyday

Date Sent: 5/13/2015 2:19:34 PMOK here we go! Attached is the pictures of his fish. We sent him a message over 7 months ago to approve the fish to be shipped out. We never got a response.. We have to have the fish approved so there are no surprises when they receive it. The Revdex.com is such a con! they just love to listen to people but never the business that's getting thrown under the buss!!!!Brent has also had a local police officer to come by here to "check us out", that visit went extremely well, the officer saw the 2 fish and called Brent back about it and had a conversation with him. The officer loved spending the time here to see the studio. He was VERY impressed with our work and the amount of work we do...The officer said he just didn't understand what was wrong. Brent signed the work order that states turnaround time is just an estimate. JUST like all the others that have complained to yall.To top it all off Brent said the fish are approved and ship them. As of just this morning!!The fish are in line to ship, all shipping information is on the website under prices and information..This is the second time he complained to y'all. You dismissed the previous complaint from his because of the same information you got today.Again just a couple of people in the last 4 years complained to you,  (actually yall fell for a scam, one person used different names and email addresses to report us to you) out of 4789 fish over the last 4 years(i just added them up from the book over the last 4 years for you) PRETTY GOOD TRACK RECORD!!!!I am so tired of the Revdex.com
An art studio, like us, is not like buying an item, its all custom ordered pieces that have to be custom manufactured, custom made, prepped and custom painted for each client. It takes a ton of time....

Complaint: [redacted]
On November 11th, 2013, I filed the following complaint with the Revdex.com: I contacted Fish Scale Taxidermy in early January of 2012 in order to have two bass mounts completed. On January 10th, 2012, I placed an order for a largemouth and smallmouth bass replica. At this time I paid in full and was informed that I would receive the replica mounts around the August/September 2012 timeframe. In October 2012, I contacted Fish Scale Taxidermy and he stated that he had cancer, was undergoing therapy and recovery, and had fallen behind on the orders. I completely understood and informed Fish Scale Taxidermy to let me know when my mounts were done. Months went by and I heard nothing from the taxidermist, so I called in March 2013 to get a status on the mounts. Not to mention, every time I have called to check the status, I am sent to voicemail and receive a automatic reply text shortly after the phone call. When I was placing the order and asking about details, a phone call was answered and/or returned. During the March text conversation, Fish Scale Taxidermy informed me my mount was close to being finished and it would be done and shipped by July 2013. July 2013 came and no mount was shipped and no phone call was received from the taxidermist. I called and they text back that it has been busy in the shop and to wait a few more months. I waited until January 2014 and called Fish Scale again. I again received a text message stating that my mounts were in progress and they would be complete within a few months. I again did not receive the mounts or a status report. I waited until July 2014 and called Fish Scale Taxidermy, again I received a text saying that my mounts were a few months from being completed. Fish Scale Taxidermy told me at this time they would refund my money if the mounts were not complete by September 2014. I did not receive my mounts by September and I called them on October 30th, 2014 to check the status. On October 30th, 2014, Fish Scale Taxidermy replied with another text message stating one mount was complete and the other mount would be completed soon. Additionally, the company starting texting hateful messages and that they would not refund my money. Here it is, May 12th, 2015, and I have yet to receive my fish mounts, a phone call, or a refund.

Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be a full refund. I have been waiting over 3 years for the bass mounts. Which is an unacceptable length of time. I have been lied to and the company's story changes every time I contact them.

Revdex.com:
In between the time that I placed the complaint and the business had responded there was a shipment and I did receive the mount as of 2/14/2014. I had intended to reclass this claim prior to receiving this response. However I would like to state that nothing I have supplied in this claim is false and I have digital and paper copies of all communications supporting them.

The work order arrived on 2/14/13. It's not been 3 years. The fact that I have one fish ready and the other is close shows that we are doing our job. We send photos of completed fish to our clients so they can look at the fish and if something needs to be changed, we Chang it to be what they are looking for. We do not just ship out the fish without the customer knowing what it's going to look like. At this point, mr [redacted] is just upset at something, and will not be happy no mater what. I am going to continue with finishing this order and ship the fish out when the complete order is finished. Again it's not been 3 years, along with other comments that's not factual from mr [redacted]. I am beginning to wonder if these complaints are from compediators posing as clients just to bash us. Thanks and God bless! We will continue producing the highest quality replicas.

We do not have a client named [redacted]. The only [redacted] we have on file is a [redacted].
