Revdex.com spoke to Jeff at business and the following was relayed: The customer bought an electrical part which is not a returnable partThis is industry standard and is listed on the customer's receipt from 6/12/There is no way to determine what caused the failure and whether it was due to incorrect installationThese are all brand new from the factory partsIf this was a part that had many issues reported, the factory might get involved but this is not a part that customer's generally have a problem withThis is unfortunate and we do feel bad for the customerI am willing to sell the customer another one at 25% off the retail price to meet in the middle out of good faithIf the customer brings it to a factory authorized service center to have installed they would provide some kind of protection or warranty if another issue occurred

We have received the
complaint submitted to you By *** ***Please find the documents we

chargeback Mr *** put in against FISHWe bent
over backwards for him to try to help him with over hrs of free
technical
supportIn the end we received a mixture of new and used parts that were
not what we sent him and certainly not saleableThe assembly that he sent back was put together in a matter that was inconsistent with that of a capable technicianOur policy,
which is consistent with all industries that sell electrical parts, and clearly stated on our receipt, is there are no returns on electrical partsIf you
require the glossy photos that I sent to the
credit card company, please let me know and I will go and have another set
printed upWe are
sorry that Mr *** did not know what he was doing and ruined perfectly good, brand new factory partsFISHcannot be responsible for thatWe sell many hundreds of thousands of dollars of parts every year and this issue just never comes up.Mr*** received a *** armature assembly, *** tube 42" and a *** decalThe order was shipped directly from the factory to usThey were brand new in the box partsFISHsupply's $100,000's of dollars worth of
parts to consumers and dealers every yearMr*** is claiming that the
products were defective and did
not workHe has shipped the products back to us parts that were not the same new product he was sentThe motor
assemblies are built by *** *** and never see the water until the customer installs themMr
*** had the motor assembly for one week, yet
when we received it back
several
of the parts were covered
with rust and *** in a way
inconsistent with new assemblies
It is absolutely impossible for
the motor to come from *** *** this way as it would have never been in the waterThere
was rust at the top of the assembly and rust pitting on the
armature, which is not possible if the motor was only
in the water for a weekThere is also *** on the brushes and inside the motor which could only have
been done by the customerOur techs have spent over hours on the phone,
for no fee, with Mr *** telling him how to properly
install the partsNever did he mention
anything about rust or the motor looking usedOur techs told him
how to install the tube to the motor housing with the ***, yet
the customer never applied the *** to the bottom of the
tube but instead put it inside the motor. Nor did he install or seal the tube
properly, which would allow water into the motor and cause it to malfunctionOur policy, which
is clearly stated on our website, is there is no return on electrical partsThat policy is
consistent with all industries, including ours, on electrical partsWhen Mr *** called and informed our tech he was sending them back because they didn't work
he said that the item would probably run fine once we received itOur tech found
that the motor was running fine, but noticed the rust at the
top of the threads of the motor assemblyAfter disassembling the motor he saw the
*** on the brushes, rust on interior parts and rust pitting on
the armatureIt is impossible for this kind of corrosion to occur within the time frame that the customer had
the orderAt best, Mr*** destroyed the product by improperly installing the partsHowever, due to the significant
amount of rust inside the assembly it is impossible that this is the product we sent himWe are sorry he did
not know what he was doingBut for us to except
responsibility for used part that we did not sell and
his inability to properly install parts we did sell is not our responsibilityAnd just because we really went out of our way we had Mr*** bring his unit to another repair center, *** *** ***When they tested what he brought them it did not workThey informed me he was a difficult customer in the past and really wanted no more to do with himJeff GPresident

installation. These are all brand new from the factory parts. If this was a part that had many issues reported, the factory might get involved but this is not a part that customer's generally have a problem with. This is unfortunate and we do feel bad for the customer. I am willing to sell the customer another one at 25% off the retail price to meet in the middle out of good faith. If the customer brings it to a factory authorized service center to have installed they would provide some kind of protection or warranty if another issue occurred.
