I had an egress window installed by [redacted] and his helperThe contract stated to install drain to my existing drain tile etc..the day came and he worked all day on the windowThen the problems started so he left my basement a mess with all dust and mud created by cutting windowGot all over my washer/ dryer, treadmill etc...(so my thought maybe it would be a good idea to put tarp up to stop the mess from spreading.) He told me he will be back to clean it up the next dayThe next day came (Friday) and he left a message that he will not make it over as he was busy with another project, if I want he can stop over the next day and just clean it upI called him back and asked if he can clean it up as my son sleeps in basementHe then started saying..."awh I really would like to sleep as I've been working late, and I told my wife that I would not take on any extra work so I could spend time with family"I'm a sucker and fell for it as he agreed to cut some amount off money off from another project I wanted done if I cleaned it up myselfSo I cleaned all day in basementNext week he came and finished up with little thingsleft my entire side of house full of mudHe did ask what he could do to make it look better agreed on adding dirt ( which in the end was pointless) which I will give him crefit for Days went on and rained hard my window was FULL of water not draining...called himFound out he never installed any drain!!! Something you should probably communicate with me! Anyways he said he could not find my drain tile etc...which became another problem as it was not draining on one side to my sump pump..same side he installed egress windowWill give him crefit for calling his own drain guy because I told him had no problem with water draining to pump from that drain beforeHis drain guy couldn't see if my drain tile collapsed as he couldn't get @ the sharp corner with his camera [redacted] did eventually after talking come back and install drain to just "near" my sump pump...after talking to another contracter he said he should install drain directly into my sump pump thenWhich did get doneI never did get my "credit" for my clean up as I was not going to call him back for any projectsI do give him credit for trying to fix his mistakeHis communication was horrible , and had left my side yard a mud pitHe could of been worse, but he could of been a lot better too!
We hired Brad to do an egress window and add a bedroom in our basementThis was in Sept emberHe told us window would be put in in October and finishing the rest in JanuaryOctober came and wentWhen he finally responded he told me middle of NovemberThat didn't happenSo I sent him an email asking if he wanted the job or notHe gave me some run around about the weather being nice and guaranteed they would be at the house to install on the 30th of NovemberToday is December 2ndI left three messages with no responseI called the Village of Bellevue and he never even got the Building permitThen his website has his Liability Insurance paperworkWell that is expired and he is no longer insured by that companyState if Wisconsin has his License as being expired tooIf he doesn't have the decency to respond I am not calling to let him know we found someone else who actually wants the jobI would NOT Recommend this guy
