First off I want to apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience all of this has causedAs per Planet Fitness Policy, the member signed and agreed to the terms that come with their individual Black Card Membership, the agreement is attachedOn or around the 17th of each month, Planet Fitness will deduct $for his monthly membership dues if the payment is returned uncollectable for reasons including, but not limited to, non-sufficient funds, expired credit cards, cancelled credit cards, overdrafts and closed accounts a $service fee will also be applied for each month the Monthly Membership Fee or Annual Membership Fee .There is a twelve month commitment with this membership, but per the terms highlighted on the agreement, in order to cancel the monthly membership and stop the billing of the monthly membership on the 17th of each month, the club requires written notification by the 10th of the month delivered to the club in person or via certified mailWhen a letter is certified, the member will receive notification from the post office upon delivery to the clubWithout proper cancellation procedures followed by the member, the membership will remain active until this is done soThe member was in his twelve month commitment until April 26th, There will be no refunds given as he would have still had to pay for April as his commitment was not up until after the billing cycle, as far as for the May payment there was no proper cancellation done before the 10th of May so the member did not miss the billing cycleI will make sure my staff is aware about proper communication with the members as far as the process of cancelling a memberI spoke with the member on Friday and it seemed to clear the air but if the member has any questions they may contact the club at 317-915-?
