Review: Tiles are defective they have white spots on them. Glue is on top of the tiles. There is significant gapping between the tiles to the point where I have tripped on it. Poor installation along with poor sales, poor customer service is an understatement. They have refused to correct the problems and have been asking for payment. Fisher's Carpet One stated that Armstrong tiles reviewed the situation and has decided to do nothing so neither will Fisher's Carpet One. And If necessary they will resort to legal action. I refuse to make any further payment until the issues are rectified. No one would be happy with this job if it were their home.I have contacted the Attorney General and will go further if necessary.Desired Settlement: New flooring put down without extra charge.

Dear **. [redacted],
I was in receipt of your letter yesterday and left you a message. I did try to fax, but was unable to; so I am following up with an email per our conversation this morning.
As you will read, **. [redacted] has also filed a complaint to the Attorney General; which I also responded too. That being said...In following with our procedures with the mills/manufactures -- when someone thinks their flooring is defective and/or poor installation, the mills do inspections and I must comply with their findings. Yes, I sent installers out to her house to "fix" certain tiles that had spots to try and accommodate her -- yes, I gave her the correct cleaning & polish she needed, free of charge (retail value at $85.48) (which as far as I know she hasn't used yet) -- yes, finally the Armstrong representative came out and gave him his opinion --- yes I have sent her to collections.
In the report that is enclosed from the Armstrong rep --- bottom line is product is not defective; installation is not poor. In an attempt to collect what **. [redacted] owes us, she has now decided to sent a letter to the Attorney General and to you, the Revdex.com, in an attempt to bring bad ratings to our company - I guess in hopes that we will absorb her debt that she owes us. She was paid by [redacted] Insurance directly and contracted us to do the work; which we did back in February 2013. We will not absorb her debt, we did do the work, her product was inspected and deemed not defective and installed correctly.
I have attached your letter, the Attorney General's letter and paperwork, my responses to them (which would be the same to you), a copy of her invoice, a copy of the letter to **. [redacted] attempting to collect her balance, the Denial Letter from Armstrong, and a copy of the letter from the Attorney that I have for collections.
When **. [redacted] received my letter trying to collect the debt, so told me she was going to get her own inspection done. I told her that was fine, let me know what they say. Instead she has chosen to contact you and the Attorney General to try and smear us.
If you have any questions, I am here 5 days a week; Monday thru Friday 9:30 until 5:00 (though this week I will be away Friday and Monday). My phone number is ###-###-####

**- [redacted],
This letter is in response to [redacted]’s letter. I am not trying to “smear or avoid payment to Fisher's Flooring” as [redacted] claims, I am just trying to have non-defective tile installed properly. This has nothing to do about where the money comes from, when in actuality it comes from me whether it’s from the insurance or directly from me. Just like you, I pay my bills, which includes my insurance, which will be paying you.
I just wanted the tiles installed properly, I did not want non-defective tiles that have no spots and have no gaps. If you read my bill, I specifically requested solid blue tiles.
[redacted] came to my home on April 15, 2013 and promised me, in front of my close friend Betty, he would take care of this and make me happy. He said he would have Linoleum tile installed over the blue tile. This has not happened yet and I am not happy. Fisher’s Flooring keep sending me bills even though my requests weren’t satisfied. I will not pay for a sub-par job. The tiles that Fisher’s Flooring installed are white spotted when they should be solid blue and there are numerous gaps and glue on the tiles,
I have contacted The Attorney General, [redacted] a General Contractor and the Revdex.com. If necessary, I plan on Contacting CBS 3 On My Side and a Public Adjuster.
My home owners insurance [redacted] is not happy either. They believe that Fisher’s Flooring needs to make the situation right. Not demand that a customer be satisfied with sub-par work.
Please find attached the response to the Attorney Generals letter and pictures I have of the defective tiles. If you have any further questions please contact me at ###-###-####,
Thank you

**. [redacted],
We are trying to resolve **. [redacted]'s issues. You will see in the attached letter, that [redacted] had mentioned to **. [redacted], when we were waiting to get Armstrong representative out about her floor; about laying vinyl sheet goods over the existing vct tile. This will eliminate her seeing specs and make her easier for her for cleaning. I did leave her a message today to see if she will be willing to come in and pick out material. This way everyone can move on and possibly she will be happy.

Response:
The tiles that are on my floor are discontinued and defective. [redacted] from “3 On Your Side News” did some research on Armstrong’s’ web-site and found that the tile is defective and discontinued “white spots, gapping and glue on the tile”. The representative from Armstrong Flooring blames all of the problems on moisture issue. And that there is nothing more Armstrong can do as this is outside of Armstrong’s warranty. Is this because the tiles were defective or discontinued and never came with a warranty? Armstrong appears to not stand behind their products. [redacted] will not leave a job till everything is dry. The White spots were on the tile when they came out of the box. [redacted] from [redacted] has said it is not a moisture issue. [redacted]
dried the the floors.
The vinyl flooring that [redacted] wants to install is not what I am paying for nor what I want. [redacted] wants to fix a poor installation job and cover up discontinued and defective tile with vinyl sheets not tiles. It appears that they are trying to pull the wool over my eyes.
[redacted] called me on Thursday October 17, 2013. [redacted] left the message that I need to come to their showroom and pick out the Vinyl sheets. And the time needed to be coordinated with [redacted] and myself. Paper work would have to be taken care of at that time.
On Thursday October 24, 2013 I called [redacted]. I talked to [redacted] and I told her that the vinyl sheets were unacceptable. That I wanted tile flooring not vinyl sheets. [redacted] stated that [redacted] was not there and she was caught in between.
She said that she would relay the message to [redacted] and that I could expect a call in a week. I have not received any call as I had trouble before getting return calls. I told [redacted] that I am tired of playing games and that I would go to court if necessary.
Sincerely,
Business
