I am rejecting this response because:When contacted in april/may of due to the expiration of my credit card which was auto-pay they did not state I could send then an e-mail or letter requesting cancellationOnly if I came in personAt this time I was out of country for work and was unable to meet this compliance which I stated to them via phoneThey had no further right to continue my membership as I was out of the footprint stated in my contract nor under PA law to continue charging a different credit card which I had no idea how they got permission to charge in the first place

day notice and that would be your last billingWhen *** came in yesterday he told us about everythingHe said he gave notice to the front desk person weeks agoThis would mean that his last bill would be 12/15/Which he paidBecause of our good relationship with them we waived the last bill and refunded them via check to *** and gave him a couple fitness t shirtsWe still don't have anything in writing that he cancelled weeks ago. But we definitely honor there business and hope that they return in the futureI just wish they made a phone call to one of us, because of there relationship with us, is good. ThanksRob G***

We are cancelling it now. We are also waving the last billing on the account. Sorry for the inconvenience. Cancellations are in writing only. If you look on the middle portion of your membership, it is written there. There are no notes on the account at all that anyone in the...

office spoke to you. We are a month to month membership with no contract. The only stipulation is, a 30 day notice in writing is needed for us not to bill the account, for both parties protection. There is also no cancellation fee. I hope this helps. We are glad having you as a member.In Good health,

This would mean that his last bill would be 12/15/17. Which he paid. Because of our good relationship with them we waived the last bill and refunded them 32.00 via check to [redacted] and gave him a couple fitness 19 t shirts. We still don't  have anything in writing that he cancelled 3 weeks ago.  But we definitely honor there business and hope that they return in the future. I wanted to cancel my gym membership and went to the website which did not have any information listed. I called to the gym on a Thursday and spoke to female fitness trainer who informed me that I would have to come into the gym and complete a cancellation form before the next billing cycle 11/7/16. I visited the gym that Saturday requesting to cancel my membership and was informed that they do not cancel memberships on the weekend because they do not have access to the form. I stated that that was not what I was told when I called why else would I stopped by on a Saturday. I said that due to my busy schedule with work and school I would not be able to stop by during the week. Kara , the manager with whom I was speaking with stated for me to call Monday and speak to Mark the manager. I replied that this was ridiculous. As I was leaving the gym , Kara mumbles" I don't like you attitude either, b[redacted]'! I turn around and asked what did you just say? And you are the manager?!!! I thanked her and walked out.I called the manager on Monday told him what happened and he basically said that he has known Kara for years and never known for her to speak that way and basically insinuated that I was lying. He offered me a free personal trainer for 3 sessions in hopes to get me to stay. I declined especially after what I went thru. He stated that since I had encountered an unpleasant visit I can submitt my cancellation request via email which I did on 10/27/16 and today 11/15/16 this company STILL has taken that monthly fee out of my account. I would not recommend this gym. I have shared my experience with other people and they also have had similar experiences with Kara the manager.This family owned company makes its hard to cancel a $20.00 a month membership by taken clients thru hoops. So now once again, I have to take time out of my day to get this resolve..
