This place is amazing!! The equipment is new and everything is soooooo clean. INCLUDING THE BATHROOMS!!
I dont typically write reviews for places, but I felt compelled for this place....
Im an IT Program Manager and travel often while on projects.
I was looking for a place (not in the hotel ) to work out when traveling in that area and they made it so easy.
They have day passes that I started off with the first few times and although I'm not there as often as a regular member would be; they remembered who I was, even asking how long I was in town for "this time".
We started talking and they really seemed to understand my crazy schedule and we spent time talking about my goals and what exactly I was looking for so I could continue with those goals while away from my own home.
What was incredibly impressive was while talking to a couple of the people up front, one in particular had such an outgoing personality. You could tell he loved his job. He was joking around with his co workers and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job, and the people around him. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the equipment ( I have had two back surgeries so was asking what I should stay away from) and he was very helpful giving me info on workout routines I should try to work on to prevent further injury to my back while building up my core, He even wrote out some suggested routines and number of reps to help me with my problem areas if I wasn't able to work with a trainer.
I assumed he was one of the personal trainers there or worked the front desk/ memberships, but as it turns out he is the owner of the club! I was shocked. I found out he owns that particular location in Largo and one other. I was so incredibly impressed that although he had people working there to assist me with all of my questions, whether it was my membership, my goals especially while traveling and trying to stay on track, my injuries and concerns I had related to them, he STILL took the time to talk to me about all of it. He didn't seem like he was in a rush or trying to get somewhere else. I can't imagine how busy a typical day is for him, so the fact he genuinely cares about everyone that walks into the club ( even those who may not have standard memberships) is so refreshing. You can tell he has a genuine passion for health and fitness and loves to share that info with people. I think one of the bigger tell tales was seeing him with what turned out to be his employees and the way his employees are with him. Its a rare relationship.
I highly recommend this place, if the new machines didn't sell you or how clean everything is
( INCLUDING BATHROOMS) just talk to anyone in there. They are a rare breed of incredibly cool, knowledgeable and fun people!!
