when I took my daughters membership over last year I was told that as long as I paid the monthly fee of $16 there will be no other fee involved. I asked if they were sure because I want to have enough money in my acct, they said yes. now over 1 yr later they take $51 out and caused my bank acct to be negative!!!!! if they wouldn't have given me wrong info this wouldn't have happened.Product_Or_Service: membershipDesired SettlementI was given wrong information on the amount of money owed, due to no fault of my own I would like a refund or some months free for my acct being negative. I signed up with fitness for ten a few weeks ago and since then have only been in the building 3 times. I do not have the time or finances to pursue training at this location. I signed up and put 120 dollars down. Since then I have not entered the gym nor participated in any gym or personal training. When signing my contract I was never made away that I only had 3 days to cancel that was not how the cancellation policy was explained to me . Nor is any start date or term on the contract. I spoke with the manager [redacted] who refused to resolve the issue at hand but instead told me if I wanted to cancel the contract that I have to pay an additional 528 dollars. So I am being held hostage in a contract I do not want and cannot afford. Rather than cancel the contract the manager is practicing unethical business practices by not only refusing to cancel the contract that was not explained but also knowing I can not afford nor want the training is trying to further bury me into a debt I cannot get out of. I have only been in this physical gym 3 times and only once was to work out nor took any personal training sessions now I am pursuing other legal options to resolve this situation. Even on my.copy of the contract the terns are not listed and many fields including the date and amounts are all illegible.Desired SettlementI am requesting a full refund of my deposit amount as the contract was never fully explained or filled out.in it's entirety explaining the schedule of payments or service.
