Called FMT to have the belt of my treadmill replaced and they gave a reasonable quote for labor and parts of $239. Three men arrived for the appointment today 30 minutes early which was great. My treadmill was in working order and I know this because I have been using it. But during the appointment they called me over to tell me that the motor was broken and fried and it would cost another $150 to fix. So I am shocked because I only wanted the belt replaced now the appointment was going to cost almost $400. I questioned what they did for that to happen but they did not take liability and said 'it just happens.? So I still don't understand because I was better off not having them touch it at all! Dave then questioned whether it was working in the first place. I conquer that makes no sense for me to have them come replace a belt of a broken treadmill and that they even turned it on before I left them to do their work. I got upset because I didn't understand but Dave starts yelling and cussing at me in my own home that he is an honest business man for 40 years and was going to leave without putting the treadmill back to how they started with it. One of the technicians calmed him down and they continued to put my old belt back on my treadmill. It should also be noted that they were working on the treadmill for about an hour before notifying me of an issue with the motor. Clearly there was an error on their part because they did not notify me sooner.
At the very least, since it looks bad that the treadmill broke while they took it apart, he should've offered consideration on the labor to fix it. I didn't expect them to fix for free. But now I'm left with a broken treadmill because of them. Clearly I do not recommend this company and I am still appalled at how Dave yelled and cussed at me. Thank you for reading this.

There is no refund to issue but it is not fair that I now have to incur the expense of fixing my treadmill because of their errors that wasn't even broken in the first place. This business also does not deserve its Revdex.com accolades considering the way he spoke to me on my own home. This was especially terrifying to me. I can't imagine him conducting himself like this in someone else's home.
