I'm absolutely fuming right now!!! I have been coming to fitness for 10 for many, many years for them to treat you like absolute garbage. I finish work at 10:30 most nights and afterwards I like to go for a quick tan before close. Some boy named Jordan who I've only ever seen there the last 2 nights of ever coming here has a huge problem with staying a whole extra 2 min past 11 for me to put my clothes on. Last night I went in around 1045 and asked to go for a 15 min tan. He was hesitant and I understood that I was a little late so I went for 12 instead, which I was okay with. Jordan decides it was fair to turn off the tanning bed after 8 min. I was upset because at this point I waisted my time and lotion, did not say anything and just left. Tonight I came in at 1040 asked to go for a 15 min tan and again he was annoyed. I informed him that when I signed the membership I was told that as long as the doors are opened they cannot turn you away for a tan. Anyway he stood there arguing with me for 3 mins lol. I was in the bed for a whole 5 min and he turns off the bed again. I called him and he said he had spoken to the manager Camilla and she gave him the go ahead to turn off the bed at 1055. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! I felt personally under attack and so insulted, considering that I've been coming here for YEARS!!!! People pay every month FOR GOOD SERVICE!! Im sure the owner of this place will not be happy that you handled the situation the way you did these past couple of day. You should be very ashamed of yourselves (CAMILLA THE MANAGER AND JORDAN) you have lost a customer tonight unless this issue gets resolved by either head office or the owner! Therefore I give a 0 star tonight.

Tried to cancel the account. Was told it was cancelled. Kept billing me.In addition, after we contacted a second time to cancel. Theykept billing.I went in and spoke with someone about my account. In an effort to cancel it. Was told it was canceled. They kept charging me while I was out of the province/country. Upon noticing this on my bank statements I contacted them. [redacted]. I then asked them to cancel it, which they agreed too... and they billed me even after I emailed them to cancel my account. [redacted]. That is 4 months of paying a fee, plus getting charged twice in august.Desired SettlementI would Like my money refunded. [redacted] Business Response The first time we had spoken with [redacted] was on August 7th, 2015. This was when she called requesting a refund. We have no record of her requesting cancellation prior to August 7th, 2015. Her monthly payments of $21.00 were due on the 1st of each month. As stated in the contract we do nsf retries if the first payment is returned to us nsf. We tried to take the payment out on August 1st, 2015 it was then returned to us nsf so a retry was done on August 11th, 2015. There will be no refund issued.

Issues cancelling membership and stopping auto withdrawal payments.I have followed the cancellation process of sending a letter to Fitness Masters Corp in Saskatoon to cancel my membership. They have acknowledged they did receive the letter Jan 7, 2016. The contract is confusing and I am okay with paying the $89 cancellation fee. However, I do not want to pay the monthly fees past the time my letter was received. They are attempting to take $31.50 plus $25 NSF fee for Feb 2016 and took $31.50 March 2016. I have asked they send me a full invoice of charges that they are attempting to collect. My expectation is to pay $57.50 for the amount of the fee minus the payments they took. Desired SettlementI am seeking to pay the amount of $57.50 for the amount left owing on the contract cancellation fee or $89 and have them refund the $31.50 for the fees they took in March and have the amount owing and NSF fees cancelled from Feb 2016.Business Response [redacted]We did receive a cancel letter from [redacted] on January 7th, 2016. We then called her to let her know that there is a cancel fee of $89.00 but she was unavailable so we left a message on her machine. We did not hear back from her until March 17, 2016 and without the cancel fee of $89.00 we are unable to cancel any active membership. It also clearly states in the contract that we need a cancel fee along with a cancel letter in order to cancel a membership. Since we only received her cancel letter so far she still has an active membership with Ladies California Fitness. She will continue to be charged until we receive this $89.00 cancel fee. We will also be unable to refund any fees to [redacted]. Sincerely, Ladies California FitnessConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I have attached the contract sections that contradict each other, making it confusing. The first section I thought I had to send the money, the second section does not day anything about sending money. I no longer have the cell phone they had on file so I did not get any messages. I did get their NSF letter and responded to it with a phone call from my house phone and left a voicemail.Please let me know what action you recommend. If I clearly misunderstood the contact sections, I wil pay the amount on the final invoice they sent. Final Business Response As explained numerous times she needs to pay the $89 cancel fee in order for us to cancel her active membership. It is clearly stated in the contract.
