I wanted to cancel my gym membership and went to the website which did not have any information listedI called to the gym on a Thursday and spoke to female fitness trainer who informed me that I would have to come into the gym and complete a cancellation form before the next billing cycle 11/7/I visited the gym that Saturday requesting to cancel my membership and was informed that they do not cancel memberships on the weekend because they do not have access to the formI stated that that was not what I was told when I called why else would I stopped by on a SaturdayI said that due to my busy schedule with work and school I would not be able to stop by during the weekKara , the manager with whom I was speaking with stated for me to call Monday and speak to Mark the managerI replied that this was ridiculousAs I was leaving the gym , Kara mumbles" I don't like you attitude either, b***'! I turn around and asked what did you just say? And you are the manager?!!! I thanked her and walked out.I called the manager on Monday told him what happened and he basically said that he has known Kara for years and never known for her to speak that way and basically insinuated that I was lyingHe offered me a free personal trainer for sessions in hopes to get me to stayI declined especially after what I went thruHe stated that since I had encountered an unpleasant visit I can submitt my cancellation request via email which I did on 10/27/and today 11/15/this company STILL has taken that monthly fee out of my accountI would not recommend this gymI have shared my experience with other people and they also have had similar experiences with Kara the manager.This family owned company makes its hard to cancel a $a month membership by taken clients thru hoopsSo now once again, I have to take time out of my day to get this resolve
