Review: I purchases a treadmill from Fitness Showroom in April 2013 . Before the treadmill was a year old, actually, January [redacted], I made my first service call. The treadmill has been broken ever since. They send a service technician, but it takes weeks for the technician to arrive. When he did arrive, (two times already), he claims to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the treadmill is never fixed. Now I am still waiting for a technician to come back. They offered me April [redacted] at 9:30, when I called on March **! I work during the week, and cannot be home during the day until after $:00. I will probably have to wait another two weeks now.Desired Settlement: I want this treadmill that I have replaced with one that will work!

completion date is confirmed and scheduled with complainant for 5/*/14 2-6pm and although we do not manufacture the equipment we do have a service department who has been responsive to [redacted]'s needs and scheduling requirements as a teacher.

We are a dealer of many brands and each brand has its own warranty terms and conditions and there are delays with repairing any brand. We sell and service the brand of choice for [redacted] and will continue to do so for its intended lifespan.

Having celebrated 23 years in business, clients must realize that although service is undesirable in general, we need fitness equipment for health and stress management-that said would it be better to withdraw from the business of fitness equipment because it is a repair-prone item?

For example should we endeavor into cupcake selling so everyone is always happy? Or continue to offer the best products we can, with the best people to service them at the lowest prices-because naturally-if we were to raise our prices we could expand into more efficient service systems -BUT THE EQUIPMENT WILL ALL STILL BREAK! This is natural to the fitness equipment industry-and most appliances-due to the multitude of shipping endured prior to arrival to the end user. The idea is to only buy from a dealership with an in-house service department for many elaborate reasons.
