Review: This company sells a defective product. I purchased the product in May and by June it was no longer working. I purchased the unit for $39.99 and the refund from the company is only $34.95. I'm not returning the item because I just didn't like it. It doesn't work. They cannot charge a restocking fee or whatever the $5.00 fee is for something that broke within the warranty period. I paid the shipping charges to return the item and had to insure the package according to the company's directions. So that means I spent $45.90 to buy this defective product (that includes their shipping and handling charges) and I paid $4.53 to return the package and now I only get a $34.95 credit. Fitness Technologies has not yet credited my charge card for the $34.95.Desired Settlement: Full refund credited to my charge card.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

Our records indicate that Customer purchased One Swim Radio in May and paid $39.95 plus S&H

In June Customer returned product for REFUND. On June 28 a $34.95 REFUND was processed to Customer CC account.

Our REFUND policies which Customer agreed to at the time purchase was made state that (a) S&H cost is not refundable, and (b) a processing fee of $3-5 is applicable if package was opened.

Package received from Customer was opened.

Our WARRANTY policies provide 60 days of FREE WARRANTY SERVICE but Customer chose not to ask for such service.

We regret Customer was not fully satisfied with the Swim Radio experience. We especially regret that Customer did not ask for help in connection with WARRANTY service.

The Swim Radio was shipped completely sealed in original package after a number of quality inspections.

Customer Service Manager authorized today REFUNDING Customer the $5 processing fees (in addition to the $34.95 previously refunded).

We hope such resolution is satisfactory.

Please ask Customer to confirm with his CC Company that these REFUNDS (total $39.95) were received.

Review: On April 16, 2014 I ordered 2 new adapters for my underwater MP3 player. The one I'm using is not working so I can not use my player. The payment was sent to Fitness Technologies via PayPal April 17,2014. Currently I am still waiting for my adapters. I tried many times over the past 2 weeks to contact Fitness Technologies via email and phone to no avail.Desired Settlement: I would like the products I ordered. The player is of no use to me without the adapter and expensive to replace the whole player. If they cannot replace the adapter, I would like them to replace the player!

Customer ordered parts on 4/16/2014 for product which was discontinued years ago. Parts were not in stock therefore a full refund was made to customer on 5/20/2014. Parts are expected to be in stock by 6/14/2014 and customer is welcome to reorder.

Review: My UWaterG4 MP3 player's battery stopped holding a charge. After an email exchange with customer support on Oct 14 2013, I was instructed to send a $20 cheque along with my unit to their offices for repair/replacement.

I ordered a second unit as a gift Nov 10, which arrived at the beginning of Dec.

After not hearing from the company regarding the warranty replacement, I emailed asking about my unit on Dec 18th and received no reply.

The cheque I sent went through my account on Dec 24th.

I have made other email inquiries (the latest being Jan 14) and several phone calls (left messages) but the company has neither contacted me, nor sent me a unit, nor refunded my money.Desired Settlement: I like the unit and both my previous unit and the one I bought as a gift have been trouble free. All I want is for the company to honour it's agreement to replace/repair my defective unit in a timely fashion, especially after having taken my money to do so. 5 months is a very long time to wait, especially as a second one ordered as a gift arrived within a couple weeks. I would also like to see the warranty on the replacement unit extended for the 5 months (or however long it winds up being) I've had to wait on them to respond.

Our records indicate that a replacement unit was mailed to Customer on 15th November, 2013 through USPS First-Class International Services (Tracking number: [redacted] US).

Unfortunately package was returned by Canada Post in December because they could not deliver to the address provided by Customer as it was incomplete.

Our Customer Service Dept tried to reach Customer by phone with no success.

After obtaining the full address of customer via email, we re-sent the package on 11th February , 2014 through USPS First-Class International Services (Tracking [redacted]US). It was delivered Feb 18.

Hope problem was resolved, and we thank you again for your kind assistance.

While none of that information is verifiable by me (tracking# provided not found on USPS, no record of any calls on my phone records or voicemail, or any emails from the company either in response to my email inquiries or otherwise), I have received a replacement unit as of a few days ago and so consider the matter resolved for complaint ID [redacted].
