Review: The owner of Fitness With a Twist, Ms. [redacted] (contact information: ###-###-####; [redacted]), will not respond to my multiple attempts through multiple mediums of communication to correct a charge that was made in the amount of $75.00 on my credit card on November 4, 2014. The owner received said payment of $75.00 via my personal [redacted] account on December 5, 2014 ([redacted] Unique Transaction ID: [redacted]). On February 24, 2015, I contacted Ms. [redacted] asking her to please respond to my email stating that she had already received the payment via my [redacted] account; I informed her that I was in need of this response/documentation in order for the credit card company to remove the charge. On February 25, I sent Ms. [redacted] a copy of the [redacted] receipt. In total, she did not respond to 4 separate messages: 2 via email, and 2 via Facebook messenger. The latter medium of communication noted that she had, in fact, received and read the message.
By not responding to my message, Ms. [redacted] is prohibiting the removal of this charge from my credit card. She has, therefore, knowingly received the same payment twice as indicated by her having read my messages and not responding. The practice of receiving payment twice (i.e., double payment) is unethical and fraudulent.Desired Settlement: Ms. [redacted] should respond to one of my many messages in writing stating that she received the payment twice, and therefore authorizes the charge on my Capital One credit card to be removed. I can then provide said documentation to the Capital One which will result in the removal of the extra charge.
