Billing adjustment – if products or services were incorrectly charged Hawk auto has been completely dishonest & charged us a year later for $and sent a certified letter saying we are to pay within days on a Friday and have called right away since receiving this ridiculous letter on that Friday, Saturday, Sunday & now today a Monday with no response back Left several messages NO ONE will return our calls I leased a vehicle with them a year ago and now they are threatening me to pay this or my credit will be ruined and they will take my car!! UNBELIEVABLE! This is terrible and I'm so upset that they have an A plus rating on here? There is no way, after talking with several people about this and reading their reviews online I don't know how they are still in Business! I really hope you all can do something about this awful car dealership!!

Not a good experience at all--I will not go backI bought a used [redacted] from them in July 2016, and the sunroof stopped functioning properly within a few hours of driving itI called the dealership, and they told me "no problem, just bring it back and we'll get it taken care of"Well I brought it back, they diagnosed the issue, and now that it is apparently a more expensive undertaking than they anticipated, they are shedding any responsibility of this repairFurthermore, upon their inspecting the sunroof to see what work needs to be done, they actually made it worse, so it no longer functions at all

I bought a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu on 7/19/2018 from Hawk Chevy. Per our purchase agreement, Hawk Chevrolet world order [redacted] floor mats for the vehicle. [redacted] floormats were included in the Commitment Fulfillment document and approved by a Sales Manager from Hawk. After several months of contacting the dealership, the mats are not ordered. The salesman requested that I deal with the parts department, so I called the parts department at the end of September. I was told the wrong mats were ordered and the correct mats would be ordered. Approximately 10 days later I called the Parts Department again and talked to Steve. He had no knowledge of any Weathtech floor mats being ordered. The car was paid for back on July 19, 2018. I'm just looking to receive the merchandise that I rightfully paid for and nothing more.

I'm going to start with the salesmen, Matt *** and Dan [redacted] that lied to me about transferring my plates from my Chevy Cruze to my new carThey told me I couldn't do it because my plates were expiring 11/Instead of telling my cost differences between purchasing new plates, I wasn't given an optionI wanted to transfer my plates for several reasonsThey also never told me how much the total cost of my purchase was, instead they only gave me the monthly payment amountVery misleadingAfter purchasing the Chevy Equinox, I noticed my [redacted] membership wasn't applied as Matt and myself spoke aboutI went back the next day and Matt brought is VERY rude sales manager, Ed (no last name) over to talk to usEd came to the desk as if we were bothering him, he sat down and proceeded very coincidingly to explain how [redacted] discounts workI tried to explain the issue with my plates, however his very smug attitude preceded the conservation and it ended every abruptly once he realized I made the purchase the day beforeAt this point, he no longer wanted to speak to usHe turned to Matt and said "oh they purchased the vehicle already, you didn't tell me that"Insinuating that had he known the purchase was done, he wouldn't had come to speak to usThis is my second new Chevy purchase, not only I am NEVER returning to Hawk and letting all my family, friends, coworkers and neighbors know about this extremely unprofessional dealershipThis will be my final Chevy purchase Because, these three employees not only represent Hawk, they are also a representation of the Chevrolet brand and if this is how women are treating when they come to purchase a car without a man present, is the definition of lacking integrityIt also dismisses all the other accolades the brand is working hard for

To sum things up on Thursday Jan 3, contacted Hawk Chevy Joliet via internet to purchase a Malibu lt black advertised for 17,I was contacted back by kate in internet sales asked a few questions about one specific question was is that the actual price of the vehicle on the interetKate insured me that the internet price is the actual selling price and they match there internet pricingI also told her that I know GM (general Motors) stopped some of there rebates and incentives on Wednesday the 2ndI was told that the internet price is the price that I didn't have to worrySet up a time for show for pm got tied up called kate back 815-741-to the number she called me to let her know I would be there by 4pm she said ok the car will be pulled up and ready to goArrived at chevy not greeted by no one had to walk towards the desk were 4-men were just having a conversationSat at desk of sales man couldn't find information walked to back for kate left for mins t

Hawk *** submitted my application to banks in the nation which caused hard credit inquires on 11/26/which had lowered my credit score by many points, and it will remain on my credit report for two years
I tried via emails and text messages to the general manager, Sales PERSON, finance detand the customer Experience Manager to remove the credit hits but thy refused to do so

I took my car on October 14th to Hawk of JolietMy check engine light was on in my cabolt with 95,milesThey told me it was a purge valve and the vent valueI ok the sevice and paid $Three weeks later my check engine light came on with the same codeThe code is a evap codeI called them on 11/08th and they agreed to do a free diagnostic testI dropped the car off on 11/11th.They called me about an hour laterThe service technician Jamie told me my fuel lines were corroded and it would be about $1,to fix my carI was upset and wanted to get my money back because they supposely did a multi- point inspection on my car which has a category for under the vehicle with check list and all were greenThe green box is checked on the fuel lines and connections are goodThe service technician said its a separate issue even though it's the same code because I asked him about a refundThey did not want to refund me unless I was going to trade inSo I agree to see wha

Hawk Chevrolet in Joliet uses what I consider to be deceptive practicesMy salesman said there was a interior protective package he could throw in at no chargeHowever, that is to get you to agree to it because it ends up on the bill of saleWhen I questioned it I was told that it must be shown on the invoiceHowever, it is clearly added in to the principal balanceOn top of that the finance manager added on gap and theft insuranceWhen I questioned it, I was told it was included in the cost of the vehicleIt was clearly added to the principal balanceWhen I asked those things to be taken off, I was told that my payment would be the same because they would simply go up on the interest rateI came back the next day (not hours later), and the finance manager at first would not see meWhen customer services insisted on it, he quickly said he could not help me as soon as I again expressed my concernsThen I spoke to the sales manager whose solution did not address my concernsI should have walked out the first day or else canceled the contractNow what’s done is doneHowever it is my hope that someone reads this and is convinced to take their business elsewhere

I recently purchased at my vehicle from Hawk Chevrolet of Joliet and within one month of buying my car from them I'm already having technical issues with my vehicleI schedule an appointment to have my car looked at for the reason for my issue (radio kept going off and dashboard would flash on and off as well) I arrived at my appointment early and I am told that a diagnostics test will take approximately hours and they do not have enough technicians to accommodate my request today and asked me to come back another time without providing me a loaner carAs you can imagine this is extremely frustrating for somebody who had schedule an appointment and told them and the reason for my visit, they were fully aware of what I was coming in for and yet they still turned me away without any resolution nor a timeframe and when this was going to be fixedThe entire visit was handled with extreme
unprofessionalism and lack of any accountabilityI was told they didn't have enough techs to assist me nor a loanet car availableAbsolutely no actions were taken to rectify their mistakeHorrible horrible customer service

Will some up my experienceSalesman provided wrong information about the vehicle After I purchased the *** I found that the info provided was incorrect (I should have checked prior to purchase) Was told by the *** saleslady it was a Hawk Chevy salesman that sold me a *** and the Customer Experience rep said he does sell ***?????? and now I'm stuck without an option I was told it hadDealer was all concerned I was unhappy and customer experience rep was telling me they were doing all to make it right In the end nothing was done and again I'm stuck Sales crew was pleasant during purchase but all dealerships are, they're taking your money Called salesman to ask a question about something completely unrelated After leaving messages throughout four days, I finally called the sales manager to explain The salesman then called me backAfter only a month, I had to bring the car in for serviceThere service department is fine I was leary about ** after a bad experience years ago and have had foreign ever since Well shame on me It is disappointing that *** skimps on options in the first place as it should be represented properly There's other contradicting information that I received as wellI will never again use any Hawk dealerships or buy ** again You can buy other makes with more options for half the price Choose your dealership and vehicle make wisely Also looks like the reviews on their website are controlled by them It seems after about good reviews they throw in a bad oneDon't be fooled if this is the caseUpdate 2-I also got the *** Regional Sales Manager involved in this and after they investigated they informed me there was nothing they could do and that they were sorry Folks, it doesn't get any better than this You are misinformed by the Hawk salesman and end up not getting something you were told you were buying and then you get a "we're sorry"Not only from the independent dealership but *** alsoStand clear of Hawk dealerships and ***
