On August 24 I ate at Fitzgerald's where my entree was only $8.99 plus a drink making it not much more than $10. When the waitress came back from swiping my debit card I noticed that amounts were off by a few cents, she quickly jumped to say the system sometimes did that, since it was only a few cents I didn't think much of it. When I received my next bank statement I noticed I had a charge from the restaurant for $24.62. I immediately contacted my bank asking how to handle the situation. My bank instructed me that I would have to contact the restaurant itself to work it out. I called and spoke to the manager[redacted] on Sept 10. She was able to find my receipt on the computer and print out a copy, she then stated she would see what she needed to do. The following day, Sept 11, I received a call from a Mr.[redacted] who stated that they indeed owed me money back because the waitress typed in my total as a tip. He stated that they had had this happen before and would refund me my money as well as a giftcard to the restaurant for the inconvenience. A month later they had still not refunded me my money nor contacted me as to what was going on. October 5 I called and[redacted] would not speak to me, I then contacted Mr.[redacted] he said he would look into why nothing had been done. Today (10/13) I called again & he stated I would have to call the 1-800 number on my card to file a claim/dispute. I've already done this once and was told it was not a matter of the bank but a matter of the restaurant since it was the restaurant's mistake.Product_Or_Service: Chicken Tenders AppetizerDesired SettlementI would like to be reimbursed the amount in which they owe me, which is around $15 and some change. She called back the store and spoke to another manager that told her the same thing I did. She wanted to speak to me, again. Yesterday she called me saying she was in Greenville and asked if she could pick up a check. Again I called the bank asked for more info. I was told there was an 800 number on the back of her card that she could call to file a claim. I called her back to let her know about the new info, she thanked me and told me she would call with any other problems, I offered to buy her lunch, and I offered a gift card. She told me she had just ate, and just came down to be thrown a check. Her mother called last night, spoke to [redacted] about the situation she told him she was going to call the Revdex.com, he told her he would have app cards, a gift card and her money ready for her today.
