This is not a company you want to do business withI waited weeks for my first packageI gave them the ten days and then I contacted themThen I did multiple live chats over the course of a few daysThey gave me multiple different reasons why I hadn't received my first packageNone of them were the sameI then reached out to their page seeking answersInstead of trying to resolve the issue they deleted my commentI have the screenshots to prove they were once there I've now cancelled my membership before I received my first package

I tried this subscription service for one month as a gift for a family memberIf they want to keep the service after this one month I'm gifting, then they'll need to set up their own accountI called to cancel my subscription as soon as the box had shipped, told them the reason for cancelling, and was assured it'd be handledI received no email confirmation of the call, so I made a note to follow up, just in caseI get that services aren't always immediately updated online or processed right awayBut surprise - my subscription is still showing active a few weeks later, and I'm to be charged January 15thI understand, mistakes happen, so I waited until their website says their chat tool will be available so I can save it in writing this time that I've cancelledThe chat tool never loadedI STILL understand - technical issues happenI then tried to call in, and there's a message up saying their lines are closedOk, I STILL understand, something could be down unexpectedlyand double-checked their hours onlineThey have totally different chat and phone hours posted in different places on their website (and one or both should be open at the times I've attempted, even though I'm four hours ahead of their time zone)I have made every reasonable effort to cancel with these people, and have in fact been TOLD it was cancelled, but here I sit, unable to actually cancelI'll be trying again later today, and if I'm AGAIN not successful, I'll be filing a complaint instead of just a review here, and of course blocking the charge with my credit card companyBEWARE and maybe use a credit card versus a debit card so the charges are easier to dispute - awfully glad that's what I did

I trialled this service The initial shipment of clothes was fewer items than I was led to believe, they were of poor quality and they didn't align to my chosen style profile of "traditional" When I asked to return and cancel because I was so dis-satisfied I was told I was stuck with the items and the initial charge Shame on me for believing this was a customer friendly service I would not recommend Five Four Club to anyone

Terrible serviceWould not let me return clothes I did not likeBasically "Thanks for the money take this" type mystery box where they dump subpar products that fall apart

Company has Shady Business PracticesTheir product is sub par and when trying to cancel the service I had emailed, waited on hold for over hour and no one came to the phoneTheir website "Chat" had been down multiple daysAnd then they try to charge my card, even though canceled before the 15th deadline

Five Four Club's cancellation program is deceptive and unethicalYou have to cancel your subscription to Five Four Club by the tenth of the month even though the company doesn't charge your credit card until the 15th of the monthI went to cancel my account today and was told I could only cancel it for starting next monthFive Four Club only displays this cancellation policy in extremely small font at the bottom of their website and a hard to find FAQPlus, Five Four Club doesn't allow customers to cancel their subscriptions on their own, which is an extremely unethical business practice for subscription businessesTo cancel your Five Four Club account you have to either call customer support, which usually puts you on hold, or chat with customer serviceAfter this experience with Five Four I'm going to discourage everyone I know from subscribing to it

I had a field day with trying to resolve some issues with this company
There's no indication on your online account whether you have a package shipping or not, you have to have a tracking number in order to find anything, and unfortunately they don't supply you with one right away, with clear instructions on when it'll start showing the infoNone of that, I had to ask for my tracking number
Moreover, all their fees for restarting an account, shipping to Canada, etcare all hidden very deep in their terms page and you don't know about them until the last possible momentIn the case of restarting a cancelled account (which you have to call/email them to cancel) they charge $85, a fee not mentioned ANYWHERE around the whole "don't want to cancel anymore? Click this button!" Clicking that one button charged me $without a single warning, no confirmation or acceptance, I had no idea until a customer rep told me about it afterwards and refunded it to me
They have serious transparency issues, the fact that they don't tell you the costs of certain actions until after you've done them makes It feel like a big scam
Here's my next problem: the value of clothesThe point of Five Four is that you get big discounts on high ticket items, paying $for a package with a $value (This specific comparison was made by them)When I got the clothes, it seemed fairly obvious that what I got was about a $value, so in other words, no deals at allWhat's the point of ordering this mystery box if you could buy what you want for the same price? I received a $tshirt, $long sleeve, a $bathing suit, and a $pair of socksThis is what I believe these to be valued based on the quality and material, and compared to similar clothes offered by other complaintsPoint being, not $150, not even closeI feel ripped off from the service they offered
There only reason this isn't a negative review is because their customer service is fairly goodI personally had Lydia contact me through email and she was very helpful and answered all questions I had regarding my purchases on the accountShe refunded where appropriate and made sure I was in a good place after everything was resolved
As for everything else, I'm sad to say this is not a company that advertises accurately what they offer

This subscription company has the absolute worst cancellation policy that's ever existed. They bait you in with a huge discount. First set, $30. Was OK.

2nd set $60 -- received two $5 t-shirts and a $10 sweater -- everything made in China with the worst possible materials ever.

The items from my first box were actually ruined within TWO wash cycles (a pair of jeans and a button up shirt made for this). The button-up turned into crumpled paper (wtf?) and the seams on the pair of jeans had already frayed.

I wouldn't be so furious with this company if they didn't FORCE me to stay have to CALL IN to cancel. I've spent 30 minutes on hold on two separate occasions and both times my call was dropped for various reasons.... But this is just outrageous for an ONLINE company to force me to do this. Why not just give a freaking option on your website to PRESS CANCEL.

And again, all their garments sent to me were MADE IN CHINA with the worst possible materials.

This is not ethical business at all.

Terrible service. Would not let me return clothes I did not like. Basically "Thanks for the money take this" type mystery box where they dump subpar products that fall apart.

I trialled this service. The initial shipment of clothes was fewer items than I was led to believe, they were of poor quality and they didn't align to my chosen style profile of "traditional". When I asked to return and cancel because I was so dis-satisfied I was told I was stuck with the items and the initial charge. Shame on me for believing this was a customer friendly service.

I would not recommend Five Four Club to anyone.

I tried this subscription service for one month as a gift for a family member. If they want to keep the service after this one month I'm gifting, then they'll need to set up their own account. I called to cancel my subscription as soon as the box had shipped, told them the reason for cancelling, and was assured it'd be handled. I received no email confirmation of the call, so I made a note to follow up, just in case. I get that services aren't always immediately updated online or processed right away. But surprise - my subscription is still showing active a few weeks later, and I'm to be charged January 15th. I understand, mistakes happen, so I waited until their website says their chat tool will be available so I can save it in writing this time that I've cancelled. The chat tool never loaded. I STILL understand - technical issues happen. I then tried to call in, and there's a message up saying their lines are closed. Ok, I STILL understand, something could be down unexpectedly.... and double-checked their hours online. They have totally different chat and phone hours posted in different places on their website (and one or both should be open at the times I've attempted, even though I'm four hours ahead of their time zone). I have made every reasonable effort to cancel with these people, and have in fact been TOLD it was cancelled, but here I sit, unable to actually cancel. I'll be trying again later today, and if I'm AGAIN not successful, I'll be filing a complaint instead of just a review here, and of course blocking the charge with my credit card company. BEWARE and maybe use a credit card versus a debit card so the charges are easier to dispute - awfully glad that's what I did.

Five Four Club's cancellation policy is a straight up scam. They make it easy to sign up with a click online, but will only let you cancel after sitting on hold or waiting a minimum 30 minutes for LiveChat with a rep. They cite 'security concerns' for the difficult cancellation process, but the only real security threat is how easy it is to sign up fraudulently. There is no reasonable security concern with someone canceling a subscription, as there is no monetary benefit to doing so. Also, the product quality is terrible. May as well go to a dollar store and pick out some clothes. They will last longer, you don't have to buy stuff you don't want, and you can even return them; all things you can't do with Five Four Club's garbage delivery service.

This is not a company you want to do business with. I waited 2 weeks for my first package. I gave them the ten days and then I contacted them. Then I did multiple live chats over the course of a few days. They gave me multiple different reasons why I hadn't received my first package. None of them were the same. I then reached out to their page seeking answers. Instead of trying to resolve the issue they deleted my comment. I have the screenshots to prove they were once there . I've now cancelled my membership before I received my first package.
