The following is a response to complaint ID [redacted]
The patient purchased spectacles in our optical on 11/5/2014.
The patient returned in January 2015 and presented a pair of broken glasses which were missing a part.
The patient admitted to breaking the frame...
while trying to repair it. The patient was informed that the frame had a warranty for defects. Since the frame was broken it did not qualify for a defective replacement.
We offered to replace the frame but the patient would be responsible for the cost since we would not be able to replace it under a manufacturers warranty. We were not willing to submit the frame for warranty replacement as that would constitute fraud.
Our office has been serving the community for more than 40 years and we value our patients and their vision care needs.

Complaint #[redacted] Hi. I had replied to you. Guess it didnt go thru. Ill do here. Was Not resolved. There manager [redacted] said I admitted to her I Broke frame. That is a flat out lie. I told her as I was opening to put on , that stem broke in half. It clearly showed this frame was made in China for less then a penny. Thats why Im angry about it. I dont want anyone else waisting their money when Eyemart Express , great quality, less price, warranty vs No warranty and someone who will Lie hoping that this will go away. I had also asked to speak to one of the owners, never a response on that. I guess she got secrets to hide. So unresolved. And for the record I eat in the 5 point area most days and will Continue to warn people with glasses. Been my observation places like close when their so Badly run. I also asking for replacement cost from Eyemart Express which is $40.00 instead of Their $70.00 With warranty vs you already know. Funny when none of the facts make any sense unless you have No intention of standing behind you product. And you dont want anyone signing your paycheck to know about it.Sincerely[redacted]
