I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that it is genericI welcome Five Star Bank to contact me, especially considering I still dont know where my car is and where my belongings areAccording to the law, they had hours to communicate with me about the details of the reposessionThey have not!! Your letter to the Revdex.com has been referred to me for a responseTo explain the course of events mentioned in your letter, I'd like to provide you with a summaryOn December 13, , a payment in the amount of $was posted to your account which satisfied your payment due on November 14, On December 28, 2017, we received a request to reverse an electronic payment in the amount of $ that had been previously made on August 28, The request indicated that this was an unauthorized transactionIn response to the request, we reversed the payment on January 4, This reversal set your due date back to November At that time, and as a result of the reversal , the account became past due and owing for the November and December paymentsAfter several attempted phone calls to you proved unsuccessful, the delinquency resulted in the repossession of your vehicle on January 12, Through research conducted by our payment servicer and the Treasury, we learned that [redacted] Bank did not credit your checking account because their automated system denied your dispute request [redacted] Bank has since admitted that the issue was on their endTo resolve the matter, [redacted] Bank will process a manual credit to Five Star Bank and upon receipt, Five Star Bank will mail you a check in the amount of $As of this date, Five Star Bank is awaiting receipt of the funds from [redacted] BankI trust this will serve to explain that Five Star Bank was not the cause of the issue and that we immediately responded to your complaint with research conducted with our servicer, the Treasury, and [redacted] BankUnfortunately, the issue did result in a legitimate delinquency and the repossession of your vehicleYour account has been noted to reflect the situation and it is our hope that this is a satisfactory resolutionSince you have redeemed your vehicle and reinstated the account, it is important to remind you that to prevent future delinquency the January payment has not yet been receivedIn conclusion, your interactions with staff has been reviewed to ensure they have occurred in accordance with policies, procedures and standardsIf you have any further questions in this matter, please contact me directlySincerely, Ellen VVice Prescient and Operations Manager

I have been contacted by five star bank, by a letter they sent to my homeThis letter does not indicate any resolution to the matter at handIn fact the letter indicates untruthful accusations against myself, and the business takes no blame or steps to resolve this matterThe fact of the matter is that the repossession of my vehicle was completely preventableI maintained close contact with Five star, in regards to payment arrangements, and was never given any notice that my vehicle could or would be repossessedWhen my vehicle was repossessed, I paid everything due, and obtained my vehicle the next day possibleVehicle was taken Friday night, and the bank could not be contacted until MondayAt the time my vehicle was taken, I was only one payment behind, the bank stated they did not receive a payment from me for july because it was lost in the mailThey then cashed that payment 8/24/This situation was accelerated by an emotional conversation with fivestar banks collection department representative on 8/16/I was treated poorly and the conversation became an argumentDuring this conversation I stated that I had the intention to pay, and that I would send july's paymentThis conversation was recorded by fivestarThe conclusion I am seeking, is for Fivestar to erase the repo from my credit report

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThey have not provided me with any of the
documentation I requested or any documentation periodThey did not have the required documentation
to repossess the vehicle and they refuse to accept responsibility
for their illegal business practices and simply own up to the fact that they
did things the wrong (illegal) way I did not ask them for anything other than
what is required by law both the night of the repossession and now and they still
refuseI did not ask them to remove it from my credit report or to erase fees,
or anything extreme or over the topI simply asked for paperwork, paperwork
that they should have and be able to easily provide upon request (if things
were handled correctly), especially in a situation like this
I have
only asked that they acknowledge the wrong doing (not even to correct it, just
acknowledge it) & to simply provide the legal documentation to back up
their actions and still they refuse, because they do not have itI know I have
a clean title with no lien holders on it, in a state where the lender gets the
titleI am tired of bank and lending companies doing whatever they want with
little or no regard for the law and getting away with itI will continue to
pursue the matter federally because they hope people will just give up, they actually
rely on it and people do, they get tired, broke down, and beaten and just give
in, but I am not one of those peopleBad business needs to be called out and
the shady practices need to end or the corrupt unethical banks need too.
