SalutationsIn response to the claim from *** *** apts ***. First I would like to point out that there never was a contract, the only thing that was signed was a bid proposal stating the terms of what was to be doneOnce the bid proposal is signed if signed in a reasonable
amount of time then a contract is drawn up and signed by both parties being fivestar cleaning and contracting and *** *** apts *** *** maintenance supervisor mr*** reached out and asked fivestar cleaning to send a invoice based on the bid proposal even before a contract was drawn up at that time fivestar asked mr *** to show units to be done and measurements....we later found that the door we got measurements from was a door that had recently been replacedThe job was supposed to be a simple pull and set...mr *** asked if we could at least start the job so that people coming to do the inspection would see that they were in the process of doing what needed to be done so they wouldn’t be finedAs a favor to mr *** we went ahead and started the project 8/1/and the inspection went as planned however because we didn’t get a contract signed the first check in the amount of 16,went directly on supplies, and payroll but put fivestar cleaning and contracting in a position then to say after doors were installed we needed to satisfy a contract before moving forward there were weeks we tried making contact with the property manger in order to satisfy a contract with no satisfaction the doors were in the worst shape they all had to be built up we had to do a lot of fabricating to the doors in order to get them to fit the work was a lot more than expected once we did 45doors and the inspection was over fivestar cleaning stopped the job and told *** we would not move forward without a legal binding contract in which we got the run around weeks and then we were told the only way we would get any money even for work done was if we invoiced and agreed to finish the work at that point I knew we were being stiffed so o invoiced just to get what I was owedOnce they sent a check I backed completely out of that job that company is not a viable company and will do whatever they can to get over on any person or small businessWe paid the maintenance supervisor in kickbacks in which he split with the property manager and his maintenance team and I have of the employees of *** *** apts who will testify because she was there, they also contracted another company to do a portion of the work and told fivestar cleaning after the fact that they would be responsible to pay the fees to the other company The money we received is the money they owe we will not give a refund and if you need any paper work I have everything necessary from start to finish that has to do with *** *** aptsThank you sincerely Fivestar cleaning and contracting srvc
