I have attached a picture of the emails that the client and I exchanged this morning before he filed the complaint. There you would see that I told him that my insurance would be responsible for paying any damages that we might have caused during the work done at his house. He never replied back...

with a yes or no confirmation, but I will certainly take responsibility for the damages. I am not handing any cash to anybody, I rather let my liability insurance take care of it, since I pay a lot of money every year for their services. As far as the grass damages concern, I understand my guys made a great mistake by running over the grass and I also understand we did a poor job a fixing it, but the client got a $750 dollar discount for the inconveniences that we caused and he accepted (see attached picture),now I don't understand why he is complaining about this grass matter. I hope we can settle this for the best and many apologies for the inconvenience.
