I'm the end of May I went to the gym to talk with the owner about memberships and possibility of joining. When I got there I received a tour of the facility and they took me into the office to talk pricing and memberships. I expressed I didn't want to join because my husband wasn't there to make sure he liked it. I was told that if we came in one time worked out and didn't like it he would provide me a refund and pressured me into trying it out. He told me they are a family business and they aren't in it for money and he wants us to like it. We went one time and decided it wasn't for us called the best day to cancel and he denied the refund and stated because we didn't sign a contract it didn't count for a refund. I was told he wouldn't charge me for the month until June 1st and if he could hold my card on file for monthly payments I said yes that was fine permitting I wouldn't be charged until June 1st. He charged me the day I left 86.00. I've called this merchant and asked for a refund he's extremely Rude laughs at me and he lies to get business. He's a scam artist who tries to talk people into paying so he can charge you and then you can't get the money back because he refusing to provide the refund he verbally promised. My bank said I signed an electric contract for no refunds in which I never signed anything other than a liability form which he told me today on the phone as well. My signature was forged electronically. I would like the 86.00 refunded by the merchAnt under verbal false advertising that he has done or I am getting an attorney for falsifying documents. I tried to reason with him and he laughed at me and was so rude and eventually hung up. Not a professional company. I expressed the reason I didn't want to continue after the one time of being there is because a male staff member made me very uncomfortable in which he blew off and doesn't care. He also refuses to give copies of paperwork printer doesn't work so you have no documents
