In the end of hot July, we got troubles with what we thought was one of our [redacted] CompressorsOur [redacted] Service guy came and checked out everything and could not find anything wrong, but the power did not reach the unitI started to search for a Licenced and Insured Electrician and in between many others I found Right Touch Electrical and called the officeA very nice and helpful woman told me that she could send out Gilbert who serves the West Houston area we live in (borderline to Katy)He came the same day and made a very detailed inspection of my Breaker boxes and cables/wall outlets to the [redacted] CompressorsWhen he removed the front to one of the cabinets, we could see there had been an overheating from one of the breakers from one of the breakersHe also found system failure and that quite a few of the breakers where incorrect for the equipment they were linked toGilberto gave us multiple clear options and prices and the pros and cons with each of themThe prices I received where all from just changing out one faulty breaker, change out the ones that were incorrect, replace one box and a full replacement of both the Breaker Boxes, incl new, proper ground system, meter-base to replace feeders to copper and a new whole house Surge Protector I learned that a breaker box does not have eternal lifetimeThey need to be changed out after about years and since ours were about years old we decided to change out all of it and get correct breakers for all our different equipmentI felt I got all the information I needed to make the best decisionI got the option to get the job done as emergency or wait two days so I decided to wait Gilbert was very nice, polite, knowledgeable and had good time managementCreated minimal mess and cleaned up everything and removed all debris perfectlyHelped me with a few other small things without extra chargeTo change out the breaker boxes some damage to the surrounding area was unavoidable, but even that was taken care of without any extra charge by a carpenter and even he did a great jtrace to be seen on the wallI will for sure call Right Touch Electrical next time I need any electrical work to be done and give Gilberto and the company my recommendations!
