I have had two experiences with Five Star sent to me from a home warranty company Each time they were not able to diagnosis the problem The first call in mid-May, with "nothing wrong with the HVAC--air conditioners produce water", resulted in my attic HVAC flooding and coming through my ceiling After that, the techs could not figure out where the water came from...I called another company which found multiple issues wrong However, each of the issues that required fixing, Five Star had just told me they were fine I did leave a message for the owner/manager to return my call more than a week ago However, I have not received any communication

I was told the heat was fixed on my rental property and charged $200 for a new transformer/service call. Was told that I needed a new thermostat that would be an additional $273. In reality the heat is not fixed and the thermostat was not the problem. The employee was not truthful, did not fix the problem, and the company offered no compensation for the $200 I wasted fixing nothing. Heat is still broken!
