Five Star Placement Reviews (1)

Review: I was originally contacted by [redacted] on approx 8/14/14 and contracted via email to do business with them for promoting my website with Five Star Placement. [redacted] too the CC information and billed the $248 for setup and start of add placement and when nothing was getting done I contacted him multiple times to see what the holdup was and what the expected ETA was and after leaving about 10-12 voicemails and several emails I finally managed to get him on the phone. Five Star Placement screens their calls and you must leave a voicemail and cannot talk with an actual person 99% of the time. I finally reached him in September and he apologized and said that they would not charge the CC for the Sept payment and then two days later they charged it again for $99. and then about two weeks again after that of another $99. I called my bank and had them shut off the card to keep them from being able to charge it again.

I tried multiple times, in excess of probably 20-30 times via voicemail and also half a dozen emails, not of which were ever returned or responded to. When I finally got a hold of [redacted] on Nov 10th he said he didn't recall receiving any previous emails or voicemails and he was terribly sorry that that had happened and he would refund the entire $446. I have an email from him stating this on Nov 10th.

When this didn't happen I started calling again and this time spoke with [redacted], for which he apologized and said that he would issue the refund. I have yet another email now from [redacted] on Dec 18th stating that he would refund the full amount of $446. One month later when that didn't happen I kept calling and spoke with a Michael Nordness (no email sent to or fro, just going by the name he gave me on the phone) and he too said he would look into it and get it corrected. Since that telephone call on approx Jan 12th I have yet to hear from anyone despite how many emails or calls I leave.Desired Settlement: I would like the full refund of $448 for money paid to them via CC charges (actually double damages would be great for the immense amount of time and effort that has been put into this...that might keep them from doing it to the next guy.)

I have all emails to accompany the above descriptions of what happened complete with screenshots of where the ad placements were to be but were not on the dates during that time. Please email [redacted] and I will forward all information to you.
