No one at the Columbus Municipal Airport has been told that water leaking into the building is from A/C unitsIn fact, if you examine the Moisture Management Report attached to this response, you will see that these leaks are from the shoddy installation they put inThe proof is in the reportFurthermore, if you see the contract the Airport has with 5-Star you will notice it is a 3-year labor and 20-year material warrantyThe roof was installed in May of making both warranties still valid

the customer stated above had two separate projects done at the same location one project was one ply black roofing system which
carriers a year material warranty and year labor warranty for the amount of $ 10,, the second project was to apply a aluminum coating only , and replace skylights for the amount of $7,on a separate area which carries a year rust through warranty ( no rust will eat through the material ) warranty and year labor warranty the aluminum coating does not prevent leaks only rusting
five star did not install the skylights for the above named customer , the customer was credited the amount of $ off the $ 7,agreed contract price for the aluminum coating and skylights
five star explained to the customer if the one ply black roofing system project was leaking we would come back and service it for him but he is out of labor warranty and he would have to pay the service charge the customer at that point using very inappropriate language informed us he would not pay the service charge
five star explained to the above named customer that we would come out and service the aluminum coating project area if in fact the material had failed but again he would have to pay the service charge since this project is also out of labor warranty we got the same inappropriate response

On approxOctober 1st, We were seeking estimates to replace the entire roofing system on of the garages built within a car detached garageWe had obtained the best price from Five Star Roofing
Within a week, we called them and told them we were interested in having them do the workThey sent out An estimator to inspect what all had to be doneAnd emailed me the estimate and contractAfter reading over the estimate, we signed the contract and as their policy reads, sent them of the total price in ad-vance( $3,250.00) and the rest to be paid upon complotion_
It took them over weeks to get to us to do the jobWe, at our own separate expense had a ydroll off dumpster delivered to the site the day they started the job as they had requested
Nowhere in the contract or by any verbal communication did Five Star Roofing ever inform us that any damage to the garage doors or the door systems were our responsibilityNow we are left with a two car garage that cannot be rented outPrior to the roof repair, these two garages were rented out for $per monthThe man that was renting them had two cars in that garage and he had to move them out because of the roof repairHe couldn't have gotten the cars out if the doors were not workingI can have him witness That these doors were working just as good as new when he removed his cars
In closing, our mistake was giving them the second half of the check until the doors were fixedWhen I called Terry at Five Star Roofing about these doors, he basically toldme to "Go Pound Salt" and hung up on me,

There is nothing wrong with the drain system...the roof leaks into the shop in the middle and in the front. Five star is just trying to get more business when their work has proven to be below poor. The other roofers have not done any work but they have all ondicated that five star roofing DID NOT FIX AND REPLACE THE WHOLE ROOF AS SPECIFIED IN THEIR INVOICE. This company ran a complete scam charging for a new roof which was not done. Multiple times is false.....1 time by a roofer and 1 time by a sales rep...not even a roofer...they sent out a man who does not roof after many calls to [redacted] who is very rude, the issues that we were having were NEVER ADDRESSED. This company does very bad work and then takes forever and are rude when you contact them for help. A roof that was COMPLETELY replaced according to 5 star 2 years ago should not be leaking in over 10 locations. IN FACT ON THE SIDE IT COMPLETELY FLOODS IN...STANDING WATER ON THE FLOOR...that should not have happened if this company has properly installed a complete roof. This company should pay for the damages and repair all the leaks infact should replace all their work since what they have done was so poor. When I contacted this company I was told I was a liar and that [redacted] would never believe anything customers have to say that she believes her guys over customers. This woman has never seen these guys work on my building yet she continues to call me a liar. Isnt it customers that make this business money? Why is it okay for a company like this to treat people so poorly, do extremely poor work and get away with that. I WANT MY ROOF FIXED OR I WANT 5 STAR TO PAY FOR SOMEONE TO FIX THEIR EXTREMELY BAD WORK.

I'm going to have to re-open this case.
They called again, this time from 765-347-8175 & a rep named Tlies, asking for someone who doesn't work here anymore.
I told him we wanted to be put on their DNC call list, to not call us anymore, & about this case with the Revdex.com.
He was rude, unprofessional, & asked for my name when I asked for his but I had to give him my name first before he'd give me his.
He lied & said they could only remove us if the authorized person requested. I know the law & that's not it.
He also said I could get our information removed if I called XXX-XXX-XXXX & asked for Rich in Tech.
I did & there's no one there by that name. I talked to James who transferred me to Peggie.
She said I had to submit an email stating what information I wanted removed from their database & why.
I'm really worried they're going to sell or give whatever information I give them & we'll be getting even more unwanted phone calls from companies wanting our business.
I don't know what else I can do. They just won't stop.

1) First of all, I was never in three years told that there was any issue with caulk between buildings. They send out workers that can barely speak English. 2) Secondly, the other building is also part of the original job completed, that was supposed to be leak free for 20 years. The whole complex is just under 20,000 square feet. The bid was to fix all flashings, and roof areas that would be a leak issue and then coat with an asphalt spray that would make entire area leak free for 20 years. It was never leak free! They have admitted that it has been an issue from the start and they have never fixed the original leak. 3) There are 3 areas of leaking not just one, and none have been fixed. 4) If you pay [redacted] to have a roof that doesn't leak, it shouldn't leak. 5) If this company offers a 20 year leak free offer (that really only covers 3 years), but admits that there has been a leak issue from the start, that they have been called out to fix, but never have, what kind of company or warranty is this? I am absolutely not satisfied with this company or their response!

This company obviously has not listened to all of their conversations that they say they have recorded. On 2-5-15 "Dave at Five Star Roofing" told me that "there is no call list for commercial phone numbers". When I said that he is not allowed to continue to call me he replied with, "are you a lawyer?". Yes, that is over two years ago, that is how long they have been harassing us. And to say that they need the owner to provide a list of phone numbers to be removed, "not just a list from the receptionist" is rude. I am not "just a receptionist" I am the manager of this business. I have repeatedly asked for them not to call this number and they continue to do so.

I appreciate the action, however, how my phone number was obtained has nothing to do with how it is being abused. That is entirely the company's decision. named customer began disputing the areas to be roofed he informed the foreman that he expected the vertical shingle areas to be included at no additional charge at that point a conversation between the rep from five star commercial roofing which is the president of the company the above named customer and the tenant which is the above named customers brother began having phone conversations the five star rep reminded the gentleman of the conversations they had when they were coming to an agreement on the areas as well as the price the tenant agreed with the areas written in the signed paperwork but the above named customer still demanded the vertical shingle area be included at no additional charge once he was informed that was not going to happen he requested the foreman and his crew leave as well requested his deposit be returned, the foreman and crew was not allowed to work due to no fault of there own or five star it was due to above named customer so there for he will be charged there day pay and a trip charge the balance of the deposit if any will then be returned to the above named customer . in reference to the apology request , the only apology due is from the above named customer and tenant to the roofing personnel and there families even though they will receive day pay for the arrival day they lost an additional day of work and pay due to this project being a two day project.

connected to a live person then a follow call 36 seconds later where the spoke for to live person for a duration of 2 mins and 34 seconds at which time a service request was entered , a request for service was completed on 05-25-17 since that date there has been only one call placed to our company that was on Saturday 07-01-17 for a duration of 18 seconds the person making that call did not leave a message on the service line , in order to have a service performed the customer has to actually call and either speak to some one or at the very least leave our company voice mail if it is after business hours or on weekends not to mention they are also instructed to call there sales reps cell if in the event they can not reach the office , so we are aware of there situation. I do not appreciate the false statements made in this complaint . if there is an issue with the roof our company installed we will be happy to service it but first they have to make us aware of a problem .

The complaints and allegations that I have made against Five Star Roofing does not contain any false information, and this can be proven from my wireless billing statements. I have talked with [redacted] numerous times. I have been told employees will stop after completing a job in the area, I have been told one employee was hurt and he job was postpone, I have been told they have to speak with the employee that inspected our roof, I have been told no one has placed our information in the system, and have been told many excuses. If a request of service was place nearly two month ago why have no action been taken while inventory has been damage, heavy piles of water have accumulated on the floor, our walk in cooler has been damaged, or while water is leaking through electrical outlets. This demonstrates a lack of professionalism or care to fulfill a 10 year warranty. I do not appreciate continuous excuses and false statement in order to not fulfill their obligation.

I have full at the service request form already ad it was not fulfilled. It dis result in two inspections in which [redacted] did inform me that their inspector determine repairs are required, but no repairs were preform. I will complete another service request form that has been emailed to me; in the hopes that it will actually result in Five Star Roofing actually fulfilling their warranty.
