Fix-A-Flat Roofing

This is Bartley G [redacted] on her fix a flat roofing I was informed of the roof is leaking on [redacted] I arrive some problems with the flashing for the chimney and the roof meet fix the areas and around the cricket called and told the leak was not fixed I returned found some more work call the third time I told that leak was not fixed performedA water test with a water hose found out the roof is not leaking the chimney from the top was leaking informed the client she became a rate started yelling she wanted her money back she was obviously mad because she had spent her clients money on the roof and not the chimneyI do not work on chimneysTell us why here

Miss [redacted] you have a good warranty on your roof if your mobile home leaks again just call me and I will be happy to fix it again but you must understand that it's not a new roof is a coating with a warranty that I will honor sorry but no refund as possible thank you for your time and I appreciate your concern with this matter for the restaurant sure your warranty is in place fixaflat roofing

I am sorry that Miss [redacted] feels this way but like I stated before the work was done the repairs were made to the best of my billeting and she has a warrant I will be glad to come out it anytime and fix any problem she has she has asked for a refund that is And impossible solution since the work was performed properly and the warranty is still good and honored Bart fix a flat roofing

Flashing is part of the roof system that Fix-A-Flat charged me $to fix.Fix-A-Flat did not accomplish the job that they charged me for nor are they honoring their written year warranty. When I look up the definition of a warranty, it is defined as "a written guarantee of the integrity of a product and of the maker's responsibility for the repair or replacement of defective parts." Breach of warranty is defined as:Warranties are violated when the promise is broken or the goods are not as expectedThe seller may honor the warranty by making a refund or a replacementI am requesting a refund because Fix-A-Flat Roofing did not fix the leak. A second roofing company did fix the leak by repairing the flashing

I told I would be half to repair leak set up a date and sent a crew Call that morning and told her on my way call later and informed her my guys had a wreak and may have to fix it Sunday Got guys together and showed up late but still made it fixed leak and left note appears she file a complaint
that very day to the Revdex.com when I was notified I contacted her mediately told her I have been by there and fix the leak she told me I should not of worked on her place when she wasn't home not come back and she wanted a full refund I told her she could not receive a refund but I would still honor my warranty and would be glad to come back and fix anything else she said no and hung up the phone the home have been leaking for several weeks and already had severe damage to the ceiling I will still stand by mywork

I am rejecting this response because:The second roofing company pulled out the drywall with the water damage and discovered that the leak was from the flashing around the fireplace not the fireplace brick like Fix-A-Flat told me after calls for them to return because there was still a leak. The second company also discovered that the old flashing was just spray painted, not replaced, and the second company could not identify any areas where new tar or silicon had been applied anywhere to the flashing or fireplace. Since the second company fixed the flashing, there was no leak with water testing nor when it has rained. I am requesting a refund because Fix-A-Flat did not fix the leak nor honor their year warranty.

I want my money back. I have been trying to get this guy over to fix the problem since June and he has refused my phone calls and has blatantly tried to take advantage of me. I have tried to make arrangements with him four times since June. I can no longer pretend that he has tried to ignore my pleas for him to resolve this issue. I can not believe that he has come to my house when I was not there to fix this problem. for two reasons. 1)because I have a lock on my fence. 2)I am there EVERY Sunday. I have the voice recorded message still on my phone---I do know that he was supposed to be there Saturday after noon and when he did not arrive on the set time 3:00pm Saturday Contacted the Revdex.com! No more do I dare pretend to believe a word he says. I want to resolve this with the money he owes me------So that I can make other arrangements to fix my problem. I can not let these guys on my property again without a police officer to stand guard. I have neighbors that can honestly call these guys fictitious, they never came back to my house and they never left a note !! They are lying!

If the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]I have contacted you several times since June;  You have avoided me, side stepped me, refused to comply with your promise and warranty.  It was not until I turned to the Revdex.com for assistance did you even dare care to respond.  It was before one year.  I waited 90 days after the FIRST time I called to contact the Revdex.com.  and now you as a roofer are telling me "it isn't even new."  You are asked to return my money------I will not wait one more week.

Again I was hired to fix the roof I do not do brick mortar or chimneys  work the brick mortar and Chimney seems to be is the cause of her leak if the area I was hired to fix I will be glad to come out and repair it I think  complainant is angry because she told me the roof is leaking now she found out the chimney is leaking and is looking for a refund I cannot help her with this because I did the  work I was hired  to do  I'm sorry she is upset The lady I was speaking about was not the tenant but the complaint

Included is the original bid including a description of redoing flashing with a 3 year warranty.  The "PAID IN Full" was written by the workers I paid for the job because they did not have a receipt book with them.  I paid by check and can obtain a copy of the check if necessary. The...

picture was sent to me by the second contractor I hired to fix the leak causing water damage to the ceiling.  It shows that the old flashing was not replaced but just painted silver.
