Fix Auto Sunset

Hi [redacted] , Below is the email that our service advisor Brandon sent on 7/7/ I’ve also included the estimate and photos of Mr [redacted] BMW I appriciate your help resolving this complaint Thank you Dave R [redacted] Several items on the [redacted] issue Owner has been driving around missing the complete bumper assy for some time exposing the front end of the vehicleThere was no LKQ bumper assy that matched his vehicle on the market when I searched for oneThis would have been a customer payThe complete assy was neededOwner elected to piece it back together with all new parts and chose to just do the fender job I was the one who moved the vehicle from when he dropped it off and immediately realized this vehicle had no power steeringThe owner is rightI should have called him on it at that timeBased off of the condition of the vehicle I had assumed the power steering issue was already a problem along with the CHECK ENGINE, BATTERY AND SRS LIGHT that were on as wellThe tech also noted there was problems as well when pulling it into his stall If anybody knows BMW’s the lights on the dash go out all the timeI put because you can’t read the numbersPicture in the file I called the owner yesterday to discuss the issues taking the approach if there is anything we did wrong we would step up but when he states “SO THAT’S THE STORY YOUR COMING UP WITH” I was doneI tried to help come up with a solution and he hung up on meI notified State Farm as well

Owner has been driving around missing the complete bumper assy for some time exposing the front end of the vehicle. There was no LKQ bumper assy that matched his vehicle on the market when I searched for one. This would have been a customer pay. The complete assy was needed. Owner elected to piece it back together with all new parts and chose to just do the fender job.
 
I was the one who moved the vehicle from when he dropped it off and immediately realized this vehicle had no power steering. The owner is right. I should have called him on it at that time. Based off of the condition of the vehicle I had assumed the power steering issue was already a problem along with the CHECK ENGINE, BATTERY AND SRS LIGHT that were on as well. The tech also noted there was problems as well when pulling it into his stall.
 
If anybody knows BMW’s the lights on the dash go out all the time. I put 999999 because you can’t read the numbers. Picture in the file.
 
I called the owner yesterday to discuss the issues taking the approach if there is anything we did wrong we would step up but when  he states “SO THAT’S THE STORY YOUR COMING UP WITH” I was done. I tried to help come up with a solution and he hung up on me. I notified State Farm as well.
