Review: My daughter and I went to this business to purchase a laptop and a desktop. We were shown a laptop and a desktop and told the owner that we were thinking of both that he showed us. A Dell E6400 Laptop(379.99) and a Compaq Desktop(149.99). We said we would think about it and return after lunch, and bring in computers that we wanted to see if he'd be willing to trade or purchase. When we returned after lunch we brought in to trade or sell the following: Compaq laptop, a compaq desktop and two other desktops ( HP and E machine). The owner, [redacted] said that he would sell us the Dell Laptop for $349.99 instead of $379.99 since we agreed to buy the desktop too. He then informed us that the desktop he originally showed us was actually sold and he would TRADE all our computers for a DELL XPS that he was currently building( The price $189.99)He said since we were trading the laptop that was worth around $75.00 he would GIVE us the DELL XPS as a EVEN trade because we were giving him four computer: Compaq Laptop, the Compaq Desktop, HP Desktop and an E Machine. [redacted] proceeded to write up the invoice that reflected this. 1 Dell XPS Price $189.99 Total: TRADE 1 Dell E6400 Price $379.99 Total $349.99. Our bill charged to our card was $370.90 with tax.He then said he would transfer all information from our desktops to the DELL XPS desktop and we could bring back the DELL laptop later for him to transfer our laptop files to it. When we returned four days later to pick up the DELL XPS he actually gives us a desktop, and the other guy trasfers files to laptop. When we get home we realize he had switched the DELL XPS for a Compaq that had a $149.99 price on it. We contact the store to inform them and were given different stories each time we called. The Girl would say one thing, the one owner another, and [redacted] a third story. The owner, [redacted] ended up yelling at me saying he gave me what I wanted and wouldn't give me the DELL XPS and lose money. This is a bait an switch job if I ever sawDesired Settlement: We are looking for a $40.00 refund from the difference of the DELL XPS Price of $189.99 and the Compaq computer we received that had a $149.99 pricetag on it.
