I am rejecting this response because:
They are lyingThe home button was fine before I brought the iPad in for repairThe same can also be said about the way it now shuts off while you are trying to readThese things were not an issue before they fixed the screenAside from the screen the rest of the iPad should have been returned to me exactly as I gave it to them. You don't fix something for someone while breaking other thingsthat is just criminal practice. I'll be sure to make sure every other IT person in the area becomes aware of such shady practices

Fix My Phone offered a proposition to refund the customer's money and still repair her device.

This customer is very special when comes to attention... he makes sure understand this is for his boss so He stated it must be perfect. First of all, for us all the customers are high priority. We first assist him on date April 11. He Brought his BOSS' iPad Air for a screen replacement. We repaired...

his screen which comes with the home button already installed on the part. By 2:27 pm same day finished testing the iPad and decided to call the customer to let him know the device was ready for pickup. Since the beginning, he was told he has 30 days warranty on the part replaced unless water damage or physical damage that guarantee is voided. HE was also told once replaced no water proof or original seal anymore. He went ok. The home button was not loose at all. Then this Customer came back to the location again on April the 24", This time saying the home button was loose. It was perfectly working but he just wanted the home key tight because it was his boss iPad. So, he left it with us, we told him we will call him as soon as the device is ready. We did. He came and tested and put on the smart case and he said it doesn't suppose the screen to shut off. explained him that once the original screen it's replaced this happens due to heating the Screen repeatedly and affects the wake sensor. And explained we returned the device functioning, with a new screen and new home button and that we cannot refund since the part is not defective and works perfect. He made sure everybody that was here listens and pointed once again that I don't understand that this is his boss' iPad and he wants refund. have paid out. The men at Fixmyphone were so rude and incompetent that I do not want them anywhere close to me or my phone.  i have someone who fixes my phone:  he is located north of MemorialOn North May.  He is very capable and has a lovely demeanor.I even returned to Fixmyphone to get the two pieces that it stole.It's "expert technician", who had worked there 3 days, didn't evenKnow the pieces were missing and did not return them.Mr Sanders has a long history of unethical business practices.This is just another one.  This experience made realize I shouldDo research before I hand over my phone to someone.  I Would suggest everyone do the same.I make demand for the [redacted] I had to pay to repair my phone.The many HOURS it has taken for this company to do the rightThing I will just donate.  Don't waste your time or phone with this"Business".
