Fixer Heating and Cooling

The installer came to my house to install a Trion mister mini on my furnace to raise the humidity in my townhouse. After the work was completed, the humidity did not rise in the home at all and in fact it went down. I called the vendor who makes the mister and they stated that the unit cannot be installed on the return side. I had another HVAC company come in and charge me $122 to verify the same thing and they shut off the water to the unit so it would not cause any damage to the furnace. Also, there was a leak in the line going to the new mister. So the quality of the work was questionable.I tried several times to work with the installer to get the unit removed and to get a refund, but it seems that he does not want to cooperate.
