Without knowing why the customer was told she would have to pay for the movie on her birthday, it is difficult to provide an explanation besides that listed above.  Otherwise, it could be surmised that an employee was either not aware of the situation, or not properly trained. In that case, we would wish to investigate (which would require more detail) and retrain.We have several combos at the concession stand, and many promotions. It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the size popcorn purchased and its refills. A large drink and large popcorn at the [redacted] theater (with tax) is $12.85, but the complaint states that $21.00 was spent on popcorn and soda. This sounds more like a large soda and the Premium Popcorn Pail, total purchase price together = $21.60. The pail is a promotional item, and is a reusable bucket purchased for $15.00. Each refill thereafter is only $4.00. This would come as a surprise to anyone who thought a refill was free, especially if there was any confusion or misunderstanding in the explanation of how the Premium Pail works.Overall, it appears to be a series of unfortunate events, right up to the senior ticket versus regular ticket price, which might have been resolved by speaking with a manager on duty. We are very happy to correct any situation as it occurs, and the general manager of the location, [redacted], is quite personable and easy to speak with.  The direct theater number is [redacted] or if the customer would like to have the manager contact them directly to discuss, that could be arranged. We would most certainly like to get to the bottom of this, but need further clarification before we address anything.
